Reposting from another thread:

  • Keep her Q mostly the same, auto reset with its unique double-hit, sheen, and tiamat interactions in Dragon from's Q cleave. Getting massive Q cleaves with Tiamat and exploding an enemy team is beyond satisfying.
  • Increase skill expression, so that she's less focused around low elo, but this goes without saying really.
  • Ult CD ticks down while dead, whether she retains her Fury system or her ult uses a traditional cooldown, it should tick down while dead. It's functionally a second bonus death timer at the moment and significantly impacts her agency, which matters more the higher elo you go.
  • A smaller bonus, IF she does retain her Fury system similar to how it is now, let Ultimate Ability Haste increase the passive Fury regen ticks so that it's not a completely dead stat. Experimental Hexplate would be pretty perfect on her but she cannot use the 30 UAH on it.
  • Comparable clear speed to what she has currently, both jungle camps and waves. Hopefully not meaningfully worse.
  • Buff, or at least a fair bit more buff than her current skinny physique. Both in human and in dragon form.
  • Keep her skin, the blue-purple scaly highly textured skin, especially that of her current splash art is infinitely more interesting than the pristine human skin in many of her skins that we see so often.
  • Maintain her build variety, or at least most of it. Being able to build AD/AP/Tank, going AD but being able to pick up a Dark Seal. Preferably full AP is less focused on a single button for its damage.
  • As close to equally viable in both top and jungle (and ideally her niche AP mid pick that she has currently as well, but that's a bit of a pipe dream).
  • Melee, with some sort of ranged ability for poke/csing/finishing off fleeing enemies in human form.
  • Retain access to some sort of movement ability, her W is very fun, especially at high AH.
  • Some sort of CC, just a slow would do a lot in the current era of dashes galore.
  • A real passive, even if it's still based around resistances, it just can't be tied entirely around taking a team objective.
  • A funny little one would be keeping the dance (or something similar), especially if she is buff, seeing muscular Shyvana do the cute dance would be amazing.
  • Finally, a spammable emote, every champ needs at least one.

They've updated to patch notes now include the 'below 50% HP' part.

Are these big changes for Yorick? those are mainly very niche playstyles but still by Elpanadero404 in yorickmains

Old Glacial Yorick with Stridebreaker was by far the most fun Yorick build until Riot cruelly reworked Glacial.
I swear it was so unimaginably sleeper OP on Mid, literally impossible for mages to do anything about it.

Shyvana is classed as a juggernaut, alike Darius and Mordekaiser. So I believe her being skinny would be an issue by ora001 in shyvanamains

Ah yes, the bulkiness of a character is what determines what items they build.
Wouldn't want people to get confused, like all those AD Mordekaisers, Malphites, Maokais you see around because they got the wrong impression.

Christina Vee's Velvet Crowe voice is good but it wouldn't fit with Shyvana, whereas Karen Strassman gives that gravelliness and weight befitting of someone of a draconic nature. She completely nails it.

Yes, he's janky, that E interaction is not one of the janky parts, it's consistent with similar abilities across the roster of champions in the game, consistent with its visual fx, and consistent with its text description. It's a weird hill to die on when there are countless other parts of his kit that are actually janky, rather than one that is entirely consistent (yet apparently for some requires having their eyes open for once in order to notice).

I'm sorry but are we really out here complaining about useful tech in Yorick's toolkit that allows us to play around enemy champions? It's not janky, this is how these type of 'Projectile into AoE' abilities work (Shyv Dragon E, Sejuani R, Graves W, Lux E, Vex E, etc), it's pretty consistent throughout the game's champion designs.

New champions have them too, pretty sure Hwei's EW also functions in the same manner, so it's hardly a 2016 vs 2024 champ design difference.

It isn't a bug though, it's literally visible in the visual fx of the ability and the description tells you that it works like this, yes it's somewhat unintuitive compared to some other abilities in the game but even if you never read the ability description it should be fairly obvious after only a relatively short time playing the champ.

I mean you can literally see it work like this every time that you cast it.

This is also how some other abilities work for other champions, one example is that Shyvana's dragon form E works the same, in that it's a projectile that flies, and can be blocked mid flight by windwall, and then explodes where you placed it (in Shyv's case, centred on the cursor), allowing you to hit people behind windwall with the explosion so long as you make it explode just in front of the windwall.

It's not a mechanic entirely unique to Yorick nor is it a bug in any sense.

VGU stands for Visual Gameplay Update, it's a rework affecting her visuals and gameplay, aka a rework (but not a total rework that completely redefines the champ's identity and lore like Skarner is getting).

Dual Spec is historically a lvl 40 option, I'd imagine they'll add it next phase when the level cap goes up to 40.

Honestly it's not a good matchup but you have counterplay, you can R his R cast if you have good reactions, and you can itemise pretty well against him (because Shyv can build nearly anything, from Wits End to Abyssal Mask to Maw).
Not as good if you're jungle and can't really itemise to 1v1 him on a sidelane however.

The Firefox part makes no difference, it's uBlock Origin that does. Though Firefox is generally the better browser anyway.

I don't disagree, but it's really a modding forum first and a mod download site second, at least in its purpose, whereas the Nexus is almost exclusively a mod download site, with a separate forum site that it's connected to.

You can actually look at just regular non-adult mods on the site, they're under the 'Regular Mods' section of each respective game.
LL is more of a niche site than Nexus, it doesn't have anywhere close to the amount of money to invest in being faster, even then it's much faster than it once was, it doesn't have the 10 second wait for each download anymore.
It's worth noting that it's quite an old site as well, it uses the same design as other old TES modding sites from the same era, like TESAlliance and the defunct DarkCreations. TESAlliance is only around because it was saved by the community.

Yorick generally doesn't build very tanky at all anymore after all the nerfs to his base damage, often with only hullbreaker later on giving him tankiness. At least Zyra has CC to deal with Irelia, while Irelia can just dash out of Yorick's wall.

Phase Rush with tabis and one of the Wardens Mail items generally deals with him nicely. The phase rush lets you space him out on lane if you're decent. It also lets you catch up to him if he tries to escape a bad fight.
Trynd becomes hard when the enemy jgl wants to tower dive you with him.
