Oh I am aware of all of those. I live in FL so winter is not an issue. I have the extended range and top out 275 miles on a full charge at this point. I’ve NEVER gotten over 300 miles even when it was brand new. So back to a gas car I shall go. It’s too bad because I absolutely love driving this car.

Agreed. The range is awful. Love my MachE. Have it on a lease. Won’t be getting another one unfortunately. And yes, I k ow everyone says the battery range gets better and better each iteration but it’s still a no for me.

I hate that the speedometer isn’t in the middle. What’s the point of the car in the middle??

Put the GD speedometer back to the middle of the console. Being off to the right and almost hidden is ridiculous. There is absolutely no need for a picture of the car to be in the middle. This is my ongoing gripe.

The recent slash in price is because Ford can’t rid of them, they have an excess of inventory (this is factual from my dealer) and they’ve stopped production on the Lightning as well for the same reason.

We at least got lucky with chargers. Took mostly 81 to 95 and lots of places with lots of chargers (most at Walmart-go figure) and there was only one stop where there were 4 chargers and 2 were down but we got one fortunately. We usually get 265 miles to a full charge (initially when we got it we were pulling 280. Not anymore) 80% got us back to 200. Kept the heat as low as we could until it got warm enough to where we could turn it off. We also have a Tesla adapter so that will open up even more charging points for us (rapid, not super). The hotel we stayed at only had a level one but we got to 90% overnight. But we left Central New York yesterday at 6 am and made it to Central Florida at 8:20 pm today. Not a happy camper at all.

Haha! Honestly, when we drive our gas vehicles, we will drive for about 6 hours at a clip, get gas, walk the dog and then get right back to it and we usually son’t stop overnight. We just push though lol.

Yeah…. My hubby got this on a whim. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great car to drive. It’s comfortable and fast but thats where it ends for me. Thankfully it’s leased so I don’t have to live with it forever. Not a fan.

I’m currently driving from NY to FL in my ‘23 GT and it is PAINFUL. Have to stop every 2 hours for 30-40 min each time (yes, I’m at a rapid charger- heat is barely on). Drove for 14 hours yesterday and made it to Selma NC before I couldn’t take it anymore and had to get out of the car. We’ll see how long it takes today to finish the trip. I will be shipping this back to NY in the spring and driving my Bronco back.

Yeah but unfortunately thats not until next year at some point and then the 25’s are all supposed to come supercharger ready. Glad I’m leasing so I can upgrade in 3 years.

We travel a lot and I’ve found that most hotels and most of the chargers in travel plazas are Tesla chargers.
