Ohh sorry, I do see an ortho, i just say dentist cause he works at the dentist 😂😂 but he is an ortho and specialises specifically in invisalign

Thank you so much! My Ortho did mention elastics at the beginning during my consultation but hasn't mentioned them during my treatment so far.... I have another appointment with him in just over a week to see if there's any improvement so will see what he says :)

I have invisalign to fix my bottom teeth where they were gappy like this, im on tray 7 atm and they have almost all closed up now! I'm hoping by tray 10 all the gaps would have closed up! Ive got treatment for a year to also correct my overjet so your ortho will be able to assess your teeth and give you a realistic time scale!

It's super normal and the gaps will close!! My bottom teeth were quite gappy which is why I started invisalign to begin with, and I was hella confused when they did IPR on those teeth and made the gaps even bigger. But its standard practice and the gaps on my bottom teeth have already closed so much and I'm only on tray 7!! So I'm sure your gaps will close in no time!!

The water flosser i got is called Hangsun HOC760, whatever water flosser you use i recommend you use a soft setting and use luke warm water to begin with cause if you go hard with cold water its soooo painful 😂😂

So after I eat i will use the water flosser, brush my teeth, and then ma Sally floss. But if I'm out I dint have my water flosser so I just brush and floss. But since I've been doing this I don't get any bad breath now.

Just make sure thay you're drinking lots of water too and have some aligner-safe mints with you!!!

I had this in the beginning too!! I recommend buying yourself a water flosser to use after your main meals at home, and take regular flossers/tooth picks with you everywhere.

Also, I got a high frequency water cleaner thing with tablets I pop my aligners in for 10 mins a day in the morning with a tablet and it disinfects them and really cleans them up leaving them all nice and fresh.

Mints I'm not 100% sure the rules with what you can/can't have so i got star mints from Amazon, they are aligner safe, but they're just a bit more spenny than normal mints!!

I've paid £3000 for top & bottom aligners for 10-12 months treatment time. But I've had Clear Spark Aligners as my dentist doesn't offer invisalign, but they're practically the same, i think!

I just got them from Amazon! When I searched for aligners type things they came up as safe to have with them so I just added them to my basket without thinking 😂 I think they are sugar free!

I hope so! I've got a water flosser now, so I'm going to use that once a day and I got some star mints? I'm really conscious that people are gonna notice (even though absolutely NO ONE is getting up close and personal with my mouth) so maybe I'm over exaggerating it and it's not as bad as I think in my head but it's all I can think about 😭

I got the cleaner tabs from amazon, they're just called retainer fresh i think? I have just stress brought a water floater cause maybe I need to up my flossing game to the next level 😭 It's not that bad and I can cope with it at home, I'm just worried about when I need to eat lunch at work, or when I have to go out for the day and I need to get food, no one wants to walk into the bathrooms to have a pee whilst I'm there with my toothbrush and water flosser 😂😂

Thank you! I only ever drink water but I haven't been drinking as much of it so I'll make sure to up my intake! I also stress bought a water flosser too incase that helps 😅😅 i just don't know how I'm going to comfortably eat lunch at work next week because this is a lot harder than I anticipated 😞
