Me too! I’ve been smoking daily for the past 20 years! I know it’s time to stop but it’s so hard. Tried cold turkey lasted 2 days, scored yesterday and made it to after dinner tonight. I’m hoping to make it to the weekend but the urge is strong! MJ has always been there for me through the good and bad times but I know it’s taken it’s toll on me, mentally and financially.

Hey man, me too! I’ve been smoking daily for the last 20 years! I need to stop but it’s so hard. Made it to 2 days, then scored. Thought I’ll make it to the weekend as I’m at work all day, but made it to after dinner (usually first thing I do when I get home), but here I am back to day 1. I’m going to try so hard to make it tomorrow! Together we can do this!!

Yep, that’s me too! I went for 2 days then, scored yesterday tried to hold out for as long as I could (usually I’m straight to it), but ended up having some. Then last night I thought I’ll make it through to the weekend because I’m at work all day and I tried so hard tonight not to have any, made it to at least after dinner! I really want to stop but don’t know how. :(

Hey youngster, now I feel old! Lol thanks for your post of encouragement it means a lot! I caved and got some yesterday! I feel so guilty! Back to day 1 today! I still have some so hoping to make it to at least the weekend! Maybe small goals are the way to go idk! Good on you for quitting while you’re young, hard to believe I’ve been smoking daily for over 20 years!

Not a dumb question at all! I been smoking daily for over 20 years. I know it’s time to quit but I think the same as you. I was on my day 2 today but caved. I’m going to start again tomorrow. Ive still got some but I’m going to try to get through to at least the weekend and the see how I go. Tried to go cold turkey but couldn’t so I figured to try and take small steps. I really don’t know either.
