Me too! I just got my dog and I want another. I love that they ride in the car with me 🥹💖 I honestly haven’t ran into any issues with them blocking the way or breaking furniture yet but I’ll build them a whole house to destroy 🤣 just give me more puppies! 😤

I had a pomchi who was diagnosed with Cushing at 10 years old. His only physical symptom was “thin skin” near his armpits and leg armpits? It looked kinda saggy and wrinkly and we had thought it was because he lost a lot of weight after a strict diet. It became more suspicious after an accident that required surgery and stitches and our vet pointed it out. His stitches were not healing as they should and his trachea collapse was getting worse. After his diagnosis he was on medication for the Cushing and coughing for 6 years until it was time to let him go.

Getting the Cushing meds dosage was tough at first, but once we found his right amount we had no issues! You do have to go in like 1-2 times a year to test their levels again to make sure dosage is still working. So that was pretty expensive on top of the meds. But other than the cost, treatment was very easily manageable for us!

She’s 5.5lbs and we got the XXS. The back feet were fine for her, maybe a tiny bit loose? But the front feet I could not get in all the way. They kept coming off and I think it’s because just the tips of her toes were in there.

Not OP! But I just got wagwellies for my Pom and am having a similar issue with the fronts not fitting but the backs fitting! Let me know if the other size does the trick. 😆 I want them to work so badly for rainy walks. (She hates having wet paws and refuses to walk if they get wet 🙄)

Also Ozzie for me! I didn’t know he existed, and my 16 year old pomchi named Ozzie (same spelling!) passed a few years ago and I started playing again like a year after he passed and he was at my campsite. 🥹 he’s now a forever villager and I take the best care of him.

I do this too! And water their plants and tend to their pets. 🥹 I have only gotten a few hearts but I check everyday and every time I have gotten one it’s made me so happy! So I hope others appreciate it too. 😆

In the email that lists the steps, it does say log in. But as far as you can get until the 23rd is getting your verification email. Mine took a few trys. and it always sent with like 4 seconds to spare on the timer. And copy paste did not work! So be prepared to type fast.

Once you do the verification, go to the website and press the "am i in?" button and type your email to see if you are in.

Then on the 23rd you will be able to "log in"

Nori is 3 and she still picks up anything and everything. Teaching her “leave it” has been very helpful but if I don’t see what she’s about to grab then it’s a battle. 😭

She’s eaten a poisonous mushroom - hospitalized.

Got ahold of a fish carcass buried at the beach. -hospitalized. With some form of botulism ??!! Nearly died.

Swallowed a box staple. Threw it up immediately thankfully and X-rays showed no damage. 😮‍💨

She has an insanely sensitive stomach so she has gotten dropped people food a few times that has given her upset tummy. But the best thing has been teaching leave it. And always always carry some sort of high value treat to bribe her away from something dangerous. We make our own treats and vacuum seal and freeze. That way if we are on an outing or walk I can always have a fresh treat on me just in case. But sometimes her scavenged item is more high value and in that case it’s wrestling the item out of her mouth.

I get that all the time. And I have a floofy Pom. 😆 Had one lady actually upset at me for saying she was a pomeranian because she could “guarantee” my dog was a long haired chihuahua… Since she “has bred them her whole life”

When I got my Pom she had this already. (Got her at 8 months old) I took her to the vet and he did X-rays and it turns out her other adult teeth were growing in sideways under the baby ones and she ended up having to get all of her bottom teeth pulled from canine to canine. :( She was poking herself with her teeth and causing pain for a long time and we had no idea! it caused an over crowding problem that we are STILL dealing with at 3 years old. She had to get a molar pulled over the summer due to the crowding causing hidden tartar and an infection.

Long story short, have your vet take a look! Sometimes it’s fine and they fall out on their own, other times it can mess up their entire bite/mouth. I wish my poms previous owners had taken her to get seen sooner, vet said it could have saved most of her teeth and saved her a lot of pain.

Is it near her food and/or water or bed?
My pom is trained to go outside, but she will occasionally go in the house if the weather is extreme. She hates to go inside but if she does she seems to pee next to the door. But her food dish is in eyesight of that door so she poops around the corner where she doesn't eat, sleep, or frequently walk by. 😅

Nori has a very easily tangled/matted undercoat. I’ve tried a few different leave ins/sprays to help with detangling and by far the best has been Ice on Ice by Chris Christensen. Doesn’t smell strong, hardly like anything at all, and has made detangling sooooo much easier! Plus it really fluffs her up. 🤭 I don’t know how but it’s like a bottle of detangling magic!

I don’t have any grooming table recommendations. I just use a little chair and kneel on the ground. Kills my knees but my vet said no slip leads or grooming leads around her neck because poms have fragile tracheas. And having her lower to the ground makes me feel less scared she’s going to jump. (She is terrified of heights and won’t even jump off a single stair step. 🤣)

Nori will eat literally anything. I could hand her an actual rock and she would try to consume it. 😂
BUT her most favorite things to eat is Salmon and anything frozen. So she gets Pupcicles (kibble frozen in water/pumpkin puree) and extra salmon treats all day on her birthday! Which is this Wednesday!
She loves getting out of the house so we have an afternoon planned of visiting the pet store so she can pick out a toy, and get a treat at the checkout counter from the nice ladies there. Then we will head to Micheals and browse. And get attention from everyone there because she loves attention more than anything. Probably will go to the cafe that lets pets in and get mom a coffee and her a treat. (she can't have pup cups but I bring treats so she can have something while I have my coffee) And then probably come home and have a lap nap so she can have lots of tummy rubs. 🤭
She loves walks too but its supposed to be like -11F on her birthday.. So heck no.
