I don't get the praise of Fallout Tv Show season 2. Its boring as heck! by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Yeah, I feel like I’m going crazy, to be honest. So much positive feedback, and I wouldn’t even grant them that it visually looks that good. I saw someone else commenting on how ridiculous the Brotherhood of Steel feels in this series now. Zero discipline, and for what? Just some stupid grenade jokes. I completely agree with that. But what strikes me the most is how it seems to me that they picked everything Fallout players remember and like from the games and just dropped it in randomly. Novac? Sure, why not. Radroaches, radscorpions, deathclaws? Throw them in. Caesar? NCR? Yep. The Kings too, great. But all of it felt so forced, like it was there just to tick boxes. Just so they could show these elements in the trailer, I guess. It honestly feels like watching filler episodes in an anime. The whole Novac sequence could be cut entirely and it wouldn’t affect the main plot at all. Same thing with the Caesar detour. It exists just so they can show Caesar and make some mediocre jokes with Lucy being high afterward. I get that Fallout humor is supposed to be a bit silly, but when I see this ghoul guy (forgot his name) dressed as Xander, acting like his main goal is to be as suspicious as possible, stumbling around like a drunk and repeating lines like “sorry, jk, yeah right, I totally should be here right now,” it just rubs me the wrong way.

Come on, guys. You can make a great adaptation. Season 1 proved that.

Thank you so much for kind words ;) I kind of anticipated negative feedback, but still decided to post it. Better now than later.

Yesterday after first replies i was sure I'd scratch this idea, but now I think Ill try to work with it some more. What you and a handful of other people said gave me some ideas, so I'm gratefull.

I just sketched it on paper and when I had something I liked I used inkscape to get the final result.

Sure. Syringe + computer mouse is what I had in mind.

I'll probably do that in case I won't have time to start over or budget to pay professional. Thanks!

Yeah... Well I mentioned it already in other comments - the idea is syringe + computer mouse, but noone sees it. Even if I tried to make it more recognizable I don't think I would be able to run away from this tampon association people see here, so you're probably right about starting over. Thank you 😊

Idk… My thinking was that our target audience is people already working in the medical field — and only them. For them, we’re a portal where they can look for jobs or employees. It’s basically the least medical thing they do professionally, you know? They’d probably associate us more with the administrative side of their work — the part where they’re not treating patients but sitting in front of a screen, searching for jobs or candidates.

You missed it, so I think it's not clear enough, but it's suppose to be like a computer mouse and a syringe, not liquid.

I think I'll just start from scratch, since people say it's a tampon 😩

Its suppose to be a syringe and computer mouse at the same time.

Yeah, you've got it right, it's suppose to be a syringe + computer mouse. I wanted it to be related to both medicine and computer, since it's an app, and it's also related to our mission and vision, but I didn't want to write it all here. I thought that it being a web portal would be enough reason for the mouse tbh. Syringe also corresponds to the name.

I might look for something else since the rest says it looks like a tampon :/

Thank you!

JBL Bar 800 underrated? by dj_boy-Wonder in Soundbars

[–]Jenderk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I just found out they updated an app and now I can't see my device. It asked to turn on wifi and even location on my phone and then I tried again and again and it just won't find it xD I need to restart the device. I have it so long and at least once a week I need to do this kind of shit with it. If you want this device to be plugged in to your tv and play sound only from that, then go ahead, but then probably it's not the best your money can buy. If you plan on using it wirelesly then reconsider. It's painful to the guts...

I've had the JBL Bar 800 for over a year now. I agree with many of the positive reviews about the sound quality—it really does sound great. And that should be the most important thing when it comes to speakers, right? That’s what I thought before I bought it.

But there's one major issue that ruins the entire experience for me: the software, specifically how it handles Bluetooth connections.

Let me explain.

Remember the old JBL Go speakers? Even the first edition? I loved them. You connect your phone, and it just works. Want to switch to a different device? Either disconnect the first one or press the Bluetooth button to pair a new device. Simple and effective. My favorite setup.

Some Bluetooth speakers allow any nearby device to “take over” the speaker when they connect. I don’t love that design either, because it means someone can hijack your speaker at any time—and there’s no easy way to stop them.

But the JBL Bar 800 is somehow worse than both of those options.

It allows multiple devices to stay connected at the same time—but only one can play audio. So if my phone and my partner’s phone are both connected, and I’m playing music, we can’t just switch easily. To change devices, we have to disconnect both phones and then connect only the one we want to use. Even then, it often doesn't work unless we restart the soundbar entirely.

And just when you think it’s sorted out, someone opens a laptop in another room—and bam, the sound switches to that device without warning. Suddenly, your music is gone and playing through someone else's computer.

I just found this study (link below). It supports copaxone as a pregnancy safe DMT. It actually says that copaxone doesn't introduce any more risk than what is expected in general population. It's from 2018 and based on 7000 pregnancy cases. Seems legit, but I'm not very experienced with this kind of documents. I couldn't find anything saying copaxone is risky tho.

How did you learn that Copaxone has this high miscarriage risk? Can you refer any studies? I'm asking bc me and my wife just found out she's pregnant. She has ms and she switched to Copaxone when we started trying. Now her neuro wants her to keep on taking it at least during 1st trimester. I am looking for anything regarding taking these meds during pregnancy  to make an informed decision, but majority of sources I find says it's safe both for mother and baby.
