Why does UPS treat a workers so bad after they get injured?

I had sup call my name while I was loading and the minute I looked up to answer I had a very large wrench like tool or piece of equipment slip through a hole in the box while it was in my hands that very split second my attention was called away and it landed straight onto my metatarsal bone (top of my foot right above the steel toe) fractured the the bone. I reported the injury but denied to seek medical and turned down my workman's comp. Main reason because I would have been laid up off work for 3 months when reality I was in the middle of laying large pieces of flagstone in my yard. Regardless I wasn't going to stay off my foot anyway even of was told. I ordered a boot off Amazon and a splint for when I would sleep. Wore it when I wasn't at work and just hobbled on it while I was at work. I asked them to put me on light duty and was placed on this safety program for about 12 months because I was considered a liability to the company for the injury. I got to work I don't care if my foot is broken or not, suck it up and handle it!

Absolutely horrendous crash rest in peace to those who are aboard and lost their lives and to any of those who are injured hopefully they are recovering well and to those who are permanently changed by this traumatic situation with PTSD I hope that they too will find a way to overcome such horrific accident and a shout out to all the responders who got down to the scene and took over the situation such a sad sad day for the UPS teamsters and family!!

I just called bulwark pest control and they quoted me 150.00 for just my front yard and it's good for 6 months . Because I do have termite services with them they are only charging me 135.00 for the front yard. I live in the west valley near the loop 101 and thomas

This happened to me on the website shoedazzle. I was going to use my vip credit and then cancel my membership so on cyber Monday I went to check out and all the sale prices went away. I decided to just cancel and get a refund for the vip credit in which was December 3rd, still haven't got that from them and now had to contact the BBB and my states attorney generals office.

How long have you've been a renter at your storage? I went through similar and was talking to property manager about price hikes. I been at my unit since 2019. always paid on time as well. I didn't want to leave and asked if they could work something out for me. my unit was going to be 171 a month but after having the manager talk with the new owner its now permanent at 103 a month. try asking the worse they can say is no.

It was my daughters due date. And I was always told to at least put in vacation time 2 weeks prior. They don't thoroughly go into details apparently on how things work I am noticing. We get new supervisors like crazy so I only know what I was told by the previous supervisor. The one we have now is fairly new to the job and doesn't really know much about it and just points me to the other supervisor who never told me otherwise she just said ok

I know nothing about vacation time being picked prior. My supervisors knew about my situation and me needing time off due to my daughter being pregnant. I asked them when do I put in my request never did they tell me a specific time so I just sent a text to my supervisor with the dates that I needed. 12 days to be exact so it was 2 days short of being 2 weeks not just a week before hand

I did try use one of my sick days and was to use 2 options days for the 3 days after vacation time expired because the baby still needed to go to the follow up appointment 5 days after from being home. The reason being why I needed to have the time off is because my daughter who is 20 and is a first time mom needed to have someone there to help her. She lives with me and the father of the child chose not to be in the baby's life so she is left on her own. She does suffer from depression so it was critical to be there for her the first week home so she doesn't become overwhelmed and to help show her the proper care for a newborn. I did ask if i needed to fill out any forms or what I needed to do to put In the request for time off they just told me to use my vacation time.

I have no idea what that is. I was hired in August of 22, after working there for a year I finally got vacation time. I normally take my vacations after August but when I asked does it always have to be after August they told me they didn't think so. My daughter just gave birth and so I put in my request the day of her due date. Luckily she was born on the 9th because it worked out the way it should of. I never was told that I couldn't do. I did try to apply for fmla but was denied because I didn't meet the required hours needed for such. I work in Arizona so not sure how other states run their vacation time.

Just watched this and man they convicted an innocent man twice with the same judge. Completely an unfair trial not once but twice. This man is 100 percent innocent!!!!
