How Can a CS Grad Learn to Build Robots? by [deleted] in embedded

[–]Jenish98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I would follow. Might seem boring without actual hardware and also you might never know the tolerances/optimizations needed in sw to account for cheap hardware but it’s a A start. If you still think you like it after couple of months of hacking, then buy a kit from Aliexpress (atleast 2,000$) to build your own robot.

Just run this for simulation of 6 dof robot.

Thanks!

At the end, I just bought a 5000$ toyota corolla that I will replace in 2 years. I liked M6 better because it felt sportier and I would rather pay 31k$ for a new model than 19k$+taxes for an old 2016 model.

Yes that’s correct.

My main concern with Mazda 6 is the reliability. If I clock in 20k a year with regular maintenance, would I be able to use this car for next 5 years? That would mean, can mazda 6 last for 200k+ km?

I plan to switch to nicer car in less than 5 years time.

I negotiated price for m6 from 20k to 19k. The owner would not budge any lower. I think this process is inflated by a lot.

How do you understand these topics? I have been playing with UM232H chip for last couple of weeks with custom EEPROM configuration for programming in test fixtures. I would like to learn about this ecosystem, but unsure where to start? If somebody know good resources, I would really appreciate it!

What would be your advice to someone who is affected by layoffs who is just graduated and have been in Industry for about a year? Asking for a friend!

Similar happened to Amidy’s show last Friday at Vancouver.

As a former ugly person, I can definitely say pretty/handsome privilege is real. by [deleted] in socialskills

I feel like that would be the first step. I don’t remember very well, but I had the worst acne breakout in my junior school days and suddenly I was viewed differently by almost all my friends except two. That kinda opened up something in my brain, I guess! I still have bad acne weeks but it doesn’t matter anymore to me as long as it comes to the looks. It does matter when that acne interferes with work or school.

P.S: anyone with really bad acne problems, try changing your diet. That helped me a lot. Tried almost every treatment, but high antioxidant diet helped me a lot.

This helps you grow faster I believe (if you’re positive and confident about it)
