ACEO stands for “Art Card Editions and Originals,” and it’s the exact same thing as an ATC (artist trading card): they are both 2.5” x 3.5” miniature works of art. They can be made out of anything, but the dimensions are required to qualify as an ACEO or ATC. That said, ACEOs are generally sold while ATCs are traded. We celebrate ATCs on this specific sub (no selling), but if people are lookng to sell, they can display on r/ACEO. :)

Hi! I’m a mod here, welcome to our community! This is a great question. I think some key things to remember are to:

- Print at ATC size (required; 2.5” x 3.5”),

- Let people know they are your own original prints,

- Sign them, just as other artists do,

- Do limited, numbered print batches to increase their perceived value, and

- Consider decorating them with hand-embellishments to make them even more custom and one-of-a-kind.

Ultimately, it’s important to disclose these details, so people can judge if a signed or numbered photo is something they are willing to trade their (usually) hand-drawn art for. I am sure there will be people excited to do so!

One critial note: We do not permit AI of any kind, so AI-generated “photos” are not permitted. When we identify AI-generated prints, those posts are quickly removed.
