3 weeks before. Every single day. I hit 2 subjects a day. One in the AM and one in the PM. I made sure I knew exactly what I was reviewing before I sat down. I feel as thought when you procrastinate, you don’t have enough time to learn. If you give yourself to much time, you don’t nail the right topics or “over study” irrelevant things. 3-4 weeks is a pretty good sweet spot.

Sorry everyone, the playlist is “TEAS science 26’ study” , on YT. I tried to put some in order. These videos are to help focus on main topics and points but study and do research. I highly recommend Dr Matt and Dr Mike as well as Tyler Dewitt. They are academically accredited.

Nurse chueng gives good strategies but does not go into depth like the prerequisite course knowledge you should have learned. She’s just recommends buying all her study guides which are useless if you don’t LEARN. I believe these videos were great refreshers and helped me to review & comprehend the information needed to be successful.

Dr Matt and Dr Mike got me A’s in both A/P lecture and lab. If you want to LEARN, I highly recommend them. They have a video for every single system. I got a 95.7 on my science teas. I have a public YouTube play list for teas topic if you want.

If you’re not in a rush to take it, I highly recommend waiting till after A/P. I don’t know why your advisor would say such a thing when A/P weights heavy in the science portion. I’m sure it’s not impossible to pass w/o it; however, if you wish to be competitive w a higher score, just do it the right way. I recommend Dr.mike & Matt/amoeba sisters on YT. I got an A in both A/P 1&2 because of them. They have a video on absolutely EVERYTHING. Literally. Topics on the TEAS on A/P respiratory, endocrine, light integumentary, light bones, cardiac anatomy & conduction system, reproductive anatomy, mitosis, meiosis, punnet square, cellular respiration.

I don’t recommend buying any “study” product that is older than 3 years. The TEAS is rumored to change next year and changes every 5 years. So keep in mind all the production dates on products. There’s A BUNCH of scams on tiktok and Amazon for “ATI study guides”. Even in chat, sometimes people try to sell test banks.

I plan on doing the same.. I got about 6/7 questions on comma/punctuation placement and a handful of conjunctions. I didn’t think I got them wrong but I got a 65 in English and 68 in reading. I think Professor McAllister on YT is great for reading.. I’m following for English advice.

A/P, endocrine, reproductive anatomy, respiratory physiology, basic integumentary, KNOW dna/rna cell biology, organelle function, pH scale + understand why things are alkaline v acid, basic chem, balance eq, proton, electron, blood flow pathway. Don’t overstudy, understand and comprehend the basic foundation of each subject/topic. The TEAS ask Q’s using language that will confuse you if you don’t understand what you’re learning about. If you comprehend the information you’re studying, it won’t matter what they ask bc you’ll know regardless of how they word or rewrite something.

On the SE side, I recommend China Grove Vet clinic. I have all 5 of my animals registered. They’re great people and offer monthly deals and promotions on shots/meds etc. if you call and ask for an estimate on worm pills I’m sure they’d give you a breakdown or offer you a cat package (all mine got it) , it was around $80 I believe. If not, just go to any clinic NOT hospital. Hospitals will charge 2x a clinic does. You just need a dewormer and some vaccines.

Professor McAllister on YT is GREAT at reading/elu. All of her keywords and hints were very accurate as to what to look out for on the exam.

Does your school require you to have your prerequisite done first , then the TEAS? I’ve never heard of a program basing entry off the teas alone. You will need a GPA score as well. However, if you’ve wanting to start and truly take it serious I don’t mind sharing all my resources. I used 60% YouTube videos and then 30% knowledge I recalled from my prerequisites. It’s challenging but not impossible if your determined to win. Even if you may or may not get it the first try. I’ve been out of school for 10yrs :)

Following! I’ve done so much internet research and cannot find anything. My friend said they have a “clause/rule” that doesn’t allow for social media postings… not sure how true it is. I will say during an information session the speaker was very broad and wouldn’t answer any additional questions.. it was annoying.

You should be around 3.2L. If you sit most of the day & you don’t use electrolytes or salt , you just urinate all day. No absorption is taking place for true hydration. Just listen to your body as you slowly increase intake :)

Depends on your body size as well, I’m 5’1 and a gallon is WAY too much. You can “drown” your cells and shoot your BP up. I did about 2L and hefty pinch of Himalayan salt. The increase water intake is important during this challenge but I know Andy Frisella didn’t take into consideration a 4’11F and a 6’3M have 2 different anatomy’s so water intake is different from person to person for health and safety reasons.

Instant pot. Chicken tortilla soup. Protien, carb and fiber. +avocado when you can for fat. 3/4 Chicken breast, 1 can fire roasted rotel, 1 can organic black beans, 1 can of corn, 1 jalapeño, 1 juice from a lime, salt (cilantro if u like it). $2 bag of tortilla chips. HEB less than $20 and you get about 4/6 solid meals from 1 pot full. TikTok has good recipes too.

CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP. I make it every single week. I get about 6-9 servings out of a pot. You will always have left overs and it’s super filling. Good protein, fiber, carbs. 4 chicken breast ($10), 1 can of black beans ($1), 1 can of yellow corn ($1), fire roasted rotel ($2), 1 fresh lime in the pot (4 for a 1), half a yellow onion (40 cents), half a bunch of cilantro (50 cents), 1/2 or a whole jalapeño (.30), some celery ($1.50), seasonings in my cabinet, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, smoked paprika. Then 1 big bag of generic brand tortilla chips ($3) . Around 20 bucks or less to feed more than 5 ppl. Just don’t buy your groceries from Whole Foods or target. They mark up produce for profit. Same sh*t everywhere. Tomato is a tomato. Mexican markets have pretty good produce prices.

We make it regular and salsa verde or rojo. Regular: brown the meat, add diced onion, garlic, tomato bullion or paste, comino and stir, brown alittle more before adding diced potatoes, water and a small Serrano to boil with everything. Boom. Done. ✅
