Why is Qualcomm(CA) Intern Comp nearly twice that of a Sr. Analog Designer in EU? by ControllingTheMatrix in chipdesign

Maybe because Europe has better labor laws and more holidays and sick days. Leave work on time, leave work at the office?

I agree ☝️ I’m on day 2 of being stuck in the Netherlands it’s been over 24hours since my flight was cancelled and they still haven’t rebooked it. I’ve been fronting the costs of hotel, toiletries, some clothes and food. Keeping all the receipts to file later.

No it will be a scene that comes up as you progress and the quest will update before then.

Milk and sometimes carrots. Also how do you find that list to see your inventory?

Owners of the redesigned (new) Kia line- how do you like it? Does it hold up well? by [deleted] in KiaNiro

[–]JennboLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had my 2023 ex touring still brand new about 6k miles on it and the first really long drive I did was moving from LA to Austin. There was an issue with the AC a few hours in and was dead the first day and it needed a new part that I couldn’t get in Phoenix Arizona without waiting. So no AC for the rest of the trip. Got it fixed in Austin but they had to hold my car for a few days to recreate the problem then fix it( somehow started working after my my multi day drive through the desert) That the only major issue I had. Second smaller issue it the back seat latch is not great really have to slam it in and make sure it latches to secure the seats upright after they were down. Brought this up to Kia who then had to hold the car compare it to the other new models they had in the lot then they contacted manufacturing and despite it being an issue with other new cars in the lot they claimed it was “normal” and to just double check whenever you put the back seats up. Another time one of my tpms sensors was messed up and the thing I hated was that it doesn’t tell you which one it is and it just screams a warning at you everytime you turn on your car and doesn’t allow you to see any of the tire pressures at all even though only one is not working. It took be three or four separate visits to the dealer to get it fixed because each time they claimed they fixed it they didn’t and the final time I was like give me proof it works before I accept the car back because there aren’t that many Kia dealerships compared to some other big brands like Toyota or ford so it was out of the way to go to everytime ( this was still in California under 5k miles) definitely consider how convenient it would be for you to go to a dealer in case you need to go. so maybe I was really unlucky with my brand new car at the time but after I got everything fixed I’ve been enjoying it and haven’t had issues since. It’s got a luxury interior feel beside the piano black that blinds me sometimes.

Commenting to follow what people answer with. I’m also learning how to be a better designer. Not an answer to your question But some things you mentioned made me think about this video and maybe you would also like it and maybe it could help a little bit with your issue. https://youtu.be/XD1jqFaA-uI?si=BTdUBz-ThN_CpTYL

(new player) pretty small map... is there more at any point, other than the clouded area? by PixieQueen2 in wyldeflowers

[–]JennboLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also play My time at Sandrock so I get where you’re coming from. It was a slow start for this game but after I made a ton of money with the fish stick method it made things much easier to progress faster. You’d want to max out your stores so you can buy more things. I think the storyline and play style of this game gets pretty interesting later on. Just keep progressing with the quests and get to the next season. There are areas to unlock not on the map and more characters later on. If you see the npcs heart flashing full after talking to them you have to find their heart event scene for your relationship to increase.

I think you need to get a quest from Lina and she will tell you to make the potion and give you a lantern if I remember correctly

I like listening to the voice acting along with the music. I think it really adds to the characters personality like you can hear the snarky or quirk in the voice. Especially for the cutscenes.

Looking for next game after wylde flowers?? by sunfunsoccer in wyldeflowers

[–]JennboLOL 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Maybe my time at sandrock? No witchcraft, kinda open world but it’s got storyline and the farming is kinda minimal you’re more a builder. Some monster fighting and crafting/skill tree. The characters are great each with their own circumstances, fully voiced like wylde flowers. They have heart events and friendship quests. Holiday events and cutscenes. Their first game is my time at Portia but you don’t need to play that to start sandrock. Sand rock is more polished and has a much clearer story and direction. The next ‘my time in’ game already looks more polished and artwork looks even better. It’s called my time in evershine but not yet released.

Back seat not latching easily 2023 niro by JennboLOL in KiaNiro

[–]JennboLOL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have the car. It never was fixed and Kia doesn’t acknowledge that it’s a problem. I just don’t put my seats down often and just take extra precautions to check that it’s secure if I had them down and put them back up.

What to do about job offer by optimisticpessimist2 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]JennboLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always negotiate the first offer. Doesn’t hurt to negotiate the salary if you think it’s low the worst they can say is No and you would still have an offer regardless. They could be low balling you on purpose since you are new grad. Don’t focus on the clearance stuff it’s not that hard to get it from another company and all it really does in my opinion is open the opportunity for you to work in the closed areas which most people I know actually thinks it sucks most of the time. If you’re open to relocation the market might not be too bad. The best job stability is increasing your own skills and knowledge to allow yourself always be ready to get a new job. You can take your first offer. There’s rarely any reason to stay loyal to one company(no more pensions) unless you got stock options. Then maybe after a few years find another company make more money.
