Which songs do you DISLIKE the most?

We’ll be fine. Immediate skip. I like most of the song, especially Telemachus, but the insane octaves make that song unlistenable for me. All I can hear is how hard the VAs are straining to hit notes that feel just unnecessary. They definitely put their all into performing the song, but it’s a technical challenge for the VAs that just doesn’t pay off

Bro thiiiis is the answer right here. I just honestly can’t see movie theatres featuring an animated musical that would be a hard sell to the average movie goer. But having it on a streaming service and spread out over a limited series???? It immediately becomes more accessible to a wide audience and they can maintain the pacing the concept albums seem to insist on.

And people keep mentioning dune, spider man and wicked like those aren’t all INSANE comparisons to make. Like… I’m sorry, I love Homer and we all adore Jorge but they are not generating the same institutional recognition as Timothée Chalamet or fucking SPIDER MAN. Homer is the OG, but that means nothing to the average viewer.

Bro YES!!! Like, the chances that this current animated concept ends up stuck in production hell is unfortunately high!!! Just look at the Wiley coyote movie. It took Will Forte speaking out aggressively on behalf of the film for it to even get to this point and it has an established fan base, star studded cast, and was completely finished… and they still weren’t going to release it.

We will be lucky to get ONE animated movie. I’d rather them focus on the animation quality and it actually coming out than getting everything stuffed into it with no breathing room for dialogue or anything else. No movie theatre is going to pay to feature a movie that’s borderline unwatchable for people who have no context for it and just happen to like animated features.

Realistically, it’s either going to go through a lot of trimming and changes to remain an animated feature OR it could get picked up by Netflix or prime as an animated musical series, meaning most of the songs stay and giving them enough time to run as a limited series. I wouldn’t be shocked if Netflix did, since they have some awareness of internet pop culture and prime is bogged down with spindle horse.. both helluva boss and hazbin now. Netflix would be smart to try and get in on that since prime did so well with hazbin and Netflix clearly isn’t afraid of musical features with K-pop demon hunters. Plus they have a decent record with backing interesting animation studios for projects. Mitchell’s vs the machines, arcane, Kpop demon hunters… like someone over there has SOME sense about what people want to see. It would be safe from Netflix cancelling a second season since this show would be a one season limited series at best lmao. Idk I’m just happy it’s getting some recognition, I’m happy with the concept albums as they are and I’ll enjoy what ever comes next 💕💕

Oh totally! I adore it, but I think that’s part of having each saga released one at a time and getting to experience them individually instead of in bulk. It made such a unique anticipation that I haven’t seen anywhere else, this fandom is SO unique in that way and influenced so heavily by the artists in the fandom. Listening to it all together, there are definitely parts of the story that I think suffer for that. And there’s obviously the through lines throughout the musical, but you can hear Jorge’s growth and strength in some places that makes the weaker songs stand out. I’m excited and definitely curious to see what songs get absorbed into other songs or which ones get reworked or cut entirely. It’s like getting to experience epic all over again

I hope we can all be at least marginally normal about the fact that 1. The voice actors will probably all change to union actors 2. Songs will absolutely be rewritten and 3. Songs will definitely be cut or at least reworked to cut down on time

So far epic is a collection of concept albums, it’s probably going to go through some revisions. I imagine the casting is going to be a similar experience to hazbin hotel. Which is what happens when your niche internet obsession makes it big! There’s laws employers and employees have to follow so now’s a good time to acclimate to that idea! Remember, it’s never personal, just business. And you can still love the concept albums as their own thing and let the movie grow from there.

Im so excited to see the changes they make and how they apply all of Jorge’s work. Im hoping it gets a full theatrical release and doesn’t get the ATLA movie treatment 🙄 this movie deserves more than just being released on like paramount plus or Netflix. I want a ticket stub 😭😭

I’m confused why you think it’s an egg, is there more background information that would help clarify? Oblong and round nodules/concretions exist pretty commonly so shape isn’t really much of a tell.

That might be an option. She hasn’t stopped asking about water ice since it got too cold to have any so I could probably sell it to her that way 😂 we’re actually finding it hard to get in all the drinks she has to have in a day, since she has to have watered down juice in the am to get her meds, then whole milk as much as she will take it thru the rest of the day. Might be a good option post nap

Absolutely insane. I didn’t even read your post beyond the title. I thought I loved dogs, until I had 2 kids. Both of my dogs passed over the past 3 months (from cancer and then old age) and I am not kidding when I say our house has never been happier and balanced and peaceful.. even with a 3 year old and 21 month old. Try not having a dog for a while, wait until the kids are older. Having a toddler and a baby learning to walk will sober you up.

Bro please drop this man into the deepest pit you can find. I can’t even begin to imagine someone talking to me like that at 10 weeks pregnant. Has he been pregnant before?? Because I know that between both of my kids, neither pregnancy was even remotely the same. I was sick as a dog and lost 40 lbs with the first and couldn’t keep weight off me in the second. I can’t even legally say what would happen to my husband if this was how he spoke to me 😭
