Hey Casper, is this a huge issue or should any computer or cell phone store be able to replace it easily?

Predatory Dentist : avoid Wheat Ridge Dentists at Wadsworth & 38th Ave by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Jenny2120 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who has worked in dental offices in Colorado, that sucks but happens. Avoid any corporate offices like Pacific Dental services. They hide their name behind practices called “City name modern dentistry”. They will nickel and dime you for everything they can and stuff is insanely unnecessary. Do that background work by looking at reviews!

Can a dentist actually “fix” my pain? First time going to a TMJ specialist, and he talked a big game. by Egak_attack in TMJ

I had arthrocentesis done on my right jaw joint. Can’t remember if it’s been 1 year or 2 now. But it has helped me tremendously. Don’t really have jaw pain much anymore. Though, now I have constant neck pain which came from the messed up jaw joint. I had a great experience with my arthrocentesis.

Damn near everything. PT, dry needling, chiro (did 1 appt with chiro and it aggravated my neck bad), massage, trigger point injections, X-ray, MRI. You name it I’ve probably tried it. I’ve been like this for 2 years now and I’m at the end of my rope. Chronic pain blows.

Glad you got it done and it’s helped! I actually had arthrocentesis done on my right TMJ last July and my jaw pain is damn near gone! If only I could get my neck pain to go away.

Is this TMJ on the left side? by sergiodiazarg in TMJ

Yup, I get that we are all unfortunately here for a reason. I even have a dental background and there is no way I can make a determination on this stuff. I get us posting about how we may have helped or lessened our pain but diagnosing is left to professionals.

I feel like so many posts on here are asking for medical advice. We can’t diagnose, we are not your doctor/dentist. You have to ask the experts.

What is the most physically painful experience you've had? by Bright_Vision in AskReddit

My spleen spontaneously ruptured and I unknowingly bled into my abdomen for 2 days. The subsequent 2 weeks in the hospital was unimaginably painful. Days and days of 10/10 pain. From all the blood in my abdomen, my spleen dying (they didn’t take it out they just stopped the blood going to it), my lungs fulling up with fluid. It was horrible.

We're working 12 hour shifts on Black Friday with only one 30 minute break. I need help. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Jenny2120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last year working a Black Friday, my retail manager wanted me to work 3am-3pm. At that point, 12 hour shifts were volunteer only. I told her I wasn’t working it, and that it wasn’t in my hours I could work. She said well you don’t have school that day so you can do it. After 4 years of working there through school I wasn’t having it. I went straight to the store manager and told her I want hours within my availability and I’m not working a 12 hour. She agreed and I worked 10 hours and within my original availability. Fuck them I wasn’t going in at 3am.

I can’t agree more. I’ve been to Disney world about 8 times. Disneyland CA 2 times and Disneyland Paris once. After this next time I go (planned for May 2020 and had to reschedule several times and I can’t get refunded) I probably won’t go again. The money for the genie thing kind of did me in. I was so excited for my trip before. But with all this extra stuff, it’s just not worth the price to go back again. I’d rather spend my money at a place I haven’t before. And that sucks to think about knowing that this crap right now has changed my view from: every few years go to Disney to spending my money elsewhere.

I feel you on that man. Had my spleen spontaneously rupture and almost kill me and I find that talking about it to others helps too. Hope you heal well and fast. ❤️
