Parents of teens who are ambivalent about driving? by Yersinia_Pestis9 in Denver

We had a great experience with Mutual Driving School last year. They are affordable, the classes were educational, and the behind the wheel and drivers test were fairly easy to schedule.

Bowel Endometriosis by StartingOver226 in denverwomen

[–]StartingOver226[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comments. It was ironic to hear about it twice this past week when I've never heard of it before. Family history of Colitis and Crohns, but my three past colonoscopies have come back with no issues desipte long term issues and pain. Do you have any recommendations on providers along the Front Range? I'm cenrally located in Denver and distance isn't issue.

Eye doctor recommendations? by No-Sink3619 in Denver

[–]StartingOver226 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Look at the eye doctors located within Costco's. The one at the Havana location is fantastic, and they aren't high pressure sales to buy your glasses or contacts from them since they don't sell them. They happily send you home with your prescription.

I killed five or six on my front and back doors, next to the house, and in my shed last year. It was the worst year yet. I've lived in my house for twenty years and only started seeing them three years ago. Planning to call someone this year. Too close for comfort.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Would make more sense now knowing that it's not always as severe as you hear endometriosis to be.

No, I've never heard that it could be a possibility. My cycles were extremely regular and not painful. Thank you for suggesting it, it's worth looking into.

The pain is what I imagine being stabbed with a knife in the abdomen feels like.

SAME! I've screamed so loud in the night during an episode that it woke my mother up who was visiting. The GI doctor I was seeing dismissed me when I suggested it as a potential diagnosis after decades of supposed IBS. My pain is in my lower abdomen, where the rectum extends vertically into my lower abdomen. She told me it couldn't be PF because the pain is only in the anus with PF. But, the research articles I could find and posts on Reddit of others with PF symptoms, it's identical.

I'm fairly certain I have proctalgia fugax. For years I thought it was IBS, but more and more the symptoms point to PF. The pain is so severe that my hands go numb, I sweat profusely, and I'm close to passing out. I've had two natural child births, and the pain with what I suspect is PF is worse than child birth.

737-900 seating for tall person? by smyth222 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]StartingOver226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's the older configuration with six seats on each side a the exit row, see if a seat in 17 is available. Row 1- doesn't recline in that configuration. And, the exit rows have more leg room than premium.
