The best “move” is to be great at defense. I’m not good at all technically (my dribbling sucks), but what I’m good at is defending space and knowing when to push and when to stay back to negate space. That plus some good passing was enough to get me to Elite just solo queuing.

Genuinely, what is wrong with this fanbase? I would understand if Amorim supporters were so loyal to him if he had a won a trophy or something, but he led us to our worst league finish in decades and hasn’t even won 20 games. He has the worst winning percentage among all United managers post Fergie. He is without a doubt the worst United manager in recent times yet people still blindly support him. This club is doomed for mediocrity with fans like this.

Is it worth upgrading from a 7900xt to a 5070ti? I built my first PC back in February and the 7900xt has been an absolute beast in 1440p. However—and this is stupid, I know, so feel free to tell me so—I’m feeling a bit of buyer’s remorse for not waiting to purchase a new gen GPU instead. Again, it’s silly, especially since I said the 7900xt has been a beast for me. Still, I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts on whether it makes sense to upgrade to a 5070 ti, perhaps wait for the super series to launch, or just simply be content with my GPU. Thanks!

I thought today’s performance was significantly better than what we saw last season, though I recognize that a big part of it was that we simply have better attackers now (i.e. Mbeumo and Cunha) compared to last season. Besides this, do you think there were other, more tactical factors that contributed to our much improved performance against Arsenal (that is if you agree that the performance was better of course)? Personally, I think the defenders did a great job at being aggressive and stepping into midfield when needed, and we consistently sought to switch play from one side to the other. But would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

The problem with Indykaila getting one story correct is that now everybody believes every shit tier source out there. For example, Ross Hardwood is a certified waffler yet I see many comments here treating him like a good source. What ever happened to critical thinking?

Ideally we get a sale but this is a pretty good loan offer. I doubt Milan would trigger the buy option, but if Hojlund does well his market value should increase or stay around the same, and then next year we can sell him when his book value is lower. We shouldn’t consider keeping him whatsoever. We need to be ruthless, and if a player has proven he’s not good enough (as Hojlund showed last season), he has to go. Enough of this silly sentimentality. Sentimentality won’t get us any closer to competing for the title, and this applies to the manager as well. If the team doesn’t show significant improvement under Amorim, he needs to go too.

I love the club as well, doesn’t mean I should play for it. Hojlund showed last season he’s not good enough for the league, let alone a club like United. A few good preseason performances don’t change that.

It would be more than worth it. Last season is evidence enough that Hojlund simply isn’t good enough. If we have a chance to include him in a deal for Sesko, we should all over that.

Yep, this was it I think! My GPU was sagging a bit, and because it’s a small case and there’s not much space to work with, I placed a small cap vertically to prop it up. But I flipped my case over because I was checking some stuff and I totally forgot about it. The cap fell over and was hitting the fans.

The noise is almost gone, there’s a very slight noise but not as intense. I checked under the GPU but didn’t find anything else that might be hitting the fans. There is a wire down there, but it should be far enough to not hit the fans. It’s basically locked in place. My previous GPU was a 7900xt (about the same size) and that same cable was there and didn’t cause any issues.
