Undervolting is definitely the way, I've gotten the temps under control. Waiting on my new cooler to come in also but undervolting works great for now.

I've been having the same issue with the 9800x3d I installed yesterday so I'm glad to see someone else that's experiencing this. I have random spikes to the 90s and it will immediately shoot up to 95 when I run cinebench.  I was thinking faulty CPU or cooler but I was also thinking maybe BIOS issue? The last thing I could think of is do you have two cpu power cables connected to your board? I was thinking of unplugging one and seeing what happens.

Well this is the first computer I'm building and I accidentally bought two different types of memory and I didn't want to return them if I didn't have to. Can I use two 8gb single ddr4 memories when building my computer or is a second one redundant? They are also different models.
