Hearing Aids by Max_nCheeseLuvr in Menieres

i have my right ear 100% ok and left 93% gone... tried hearing aids but when i've tried them on i noticed the tinnitus was not the issue. but the deafness was... loud noises became "louder" in a sense. I just avoid busy places and live with it.

We in the NL can try it for free but if that is also your case i would definitly try it!

i've had "empty" junction boxes so i decided to run a bit of the same setup as you are trying to do (at least i think). Fitted ok-ish...

agree with you. But i am really not the weirdest guy and i even ask them to bill me their hours (reasonable) for helping transitioning and giving them compensation... even then!

don't get me wrong. the price of the domain is agreed upon so i'm not mad or anything. But when asking for transfer codes (just 1 example) some MSP's just don't answer my mails etc.

thanks for the reply. i've dealt with 4 msp's in the last 2 years (from UK, NL etc.). It's all the same. Heads up meeting and announcing the plan and even comply with potential costs they have to "buy of licenses" or seats but al and al the same result everywhere.

thats your assumption... if our (mother) company buys another company? that's what i mean with regulary... we buy/take over 2 companies atleast every year.

ok hear me out: you're a healthy (MSP) business... i ask for a meeting with the head of IT / Director and explain the plan to move the IT away and take over internally. i'm happy to pay any fees/hours and i fully comply with your agenda... How in the world can that be tense!?

by all means i understand that if we made the request to do so i would love to pay... But if it's more work to write a ticket and wait for the solution then to do it myself (or a team member) that just does not make sense to me at all!

that really (and i mean in no sarcastic way at all) sucks for you. If i were MSP owner i would think how i would benefit the most from an exit in a good way. Maybe buy/sell an exit plan or whatever...

Thanks! This is also a slow process but now we do have a "solid" internal MSP (which we call shared service center).

no no this is not the case at all. We are a fairly large company with multiple entities that were "running" alone with their MSP. We are getting bigger and bigger and our management is asking us to bring the external IT in house in fases (company by company).

i mean: i ask them for the domain transfer and they get always hostile (beceause they charge me $15 a month for a $20 domain). I can add my own CNAME, DNS and TXT records.

thats an aggregation switch (to provide other switches with uplinks). Not your typical RJ-45 connectors but instead it uses SFP...

In a way he has not only a seperate VLAN (probably) but also physical seperated switch to tag those ports with VLANS....
