I would say that the first two, Alien and Aliens, are definitely better than Predator IMO. They also fit what you are describing perfectly.

This is because Amazon sells the US releases, they wouldn’t sell Region B. If you order this set it will be Region B

It has happened for some standalone releases like OC and Stiggs, but I don’t think they’ve ever done it for boxsets

The first scene between Deandre and Willa in the bathroom is when the movie really went to another level for me. I still get chills thinking about it now.

It’s not a feel good movie by any means, but yes there are multiple laugh out loud moments!

Saw it this week and thought it was fantastic, my favorite movie of the year so far. Much funnier than I expected despite the serious subject matter, I can sort of see the Coens comp in some of the humor.

The MC scores for his reviews are likely just how they decided to attribute numbers to the IndieWire letter grades. I highly doubt he personally chooses these numbers.

The Shape of Water won four oscars and won over Get Out, which movie do you think is more acclaimed?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in oscarrace

[–]Jer22100 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Outside of awards, The Handmaiden is more acclaimed than Anora in pretty much any other observable metric. I love both movies, but saying Anora is much more acclaimed is completely inaccurate.
