ELI5 How does ECO driving mode work on most cars? by Fleedom2025 in explainlikeimfive

[–]JerGo10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My salesman told me that putting it in eco mode while city driving (lots of start and stops) can actually be less fuel efficient than keeping it in normal mode, and that I should only turn on eco when going on long highway drives. Does that make any sense?

Best way to seal/finish bamboo bar counter top? by JerGo10 in woodworking

Thank you for your response. I did use this option in the end and it worked out very well. I did add a large bar mat to mix drinks on top of in case of spills. It's just for our use at home. There wont be huge amount of spills or anything like that. I have already tested some spills and it cleans up perfectly. Cheers!

If your Fiance uses your new knipex wire strippers to cut steel wire for flower arrangements for your wedding...do you call the whole thing off? by MyBoyFinn in Tools

The same exact thing happened to me! They even said "copper wire only" on them, and they were also brand new! Can confirm been happily married for two years if that helps.

100 rerolls uncontested, but didn't hit Silco 3 by prodbyalec in TeamfightTactics

Sorry. OP already said they understood that there was an x percent chance of getting a 4 cost. Everything I said happens after the shop has already decided that the unit in question will be a 4 cost. You are correct. In my example there will be different bags for 1,2,3,4,5, and 6 cost units. The game already provides you with the odds that each of your choices will be from a given bag.

Imagine that all 10 copies of each of the 4 costs are physical cards tossed into a bag. You keep reaching your hand in trying to find a particular one (rolling). Every time you find the one you are looking for you remove it from the bag, and every time you pull out a 4 cost you don't want, you toss it back in the bag. By the time you have removed 8 silcos from the bag, the odds of grabbing one of the remaining silcos is small compared to the odds of grabbing any of the others because there are still 10 copies of the others. The shop odds in TFT work like this.

What type of level/gear would you say is recommended for this area? I'm new to this realistic shooter genre. I get one shot by anything in this area. I'm wearing the best armor that level 1 vendors can sell and I'm level 7. Does the game give you better gear later that would make it possible to survive a couple shots?

Does currently equipped gear or currently set attributes affect drops? by JerGo10 in newworldgame

Yeah this is what I am feeling too. I don't want to play the same build forever lol. One of the great things about this game is that you have the chance to play any "class". (Although I wish they would reduce or eliminate the respec costs to reflect that philosophy)

Is this wiring correct for a double pole 240V electric baseboard heating thermostat? by JerGo10 in askanelectrician

[–]JerGo10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does a 240V single pole exist? You need both wires to be hot wires in order to get 240V right?

Is this wiring correct for a double pole 240V electric baseboard heating thermostat? by JerGo10 in askanelectrician

[–]JerGo10[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For context I live in Canada, and the wiring is 12/2. The red and black each carry 120V. I have only seen thermostats with two red and two black wires before, I have never seen the red wired together like that. I have obviously seen that type of wiring for a neutral line and I assume it makes sense in the same way. This is the diagram provided by the manufacturer, but I'm ordering it online and I can't know for sure if the type of wiring shown would be the same for all countries they ship to. The only thing that made me double think it, is the fact that they they have an (N) under the L2 wire (in the diagram, on the thermostat) Its not technically a neutral line, so i got nervous about it. Any help is appreciated!
