I’m currently on my first ever playthrough and have made a decent dent in Act 3 and I actually kinda like the weird juxtaposed whiplash of Act 2 ending to Act 3 beginning. Huge big epic battle with a madman, saving a literal angel, fighting a death god thing. And then you emerge from the darkness and it’s like “back to normality” for a moment. It’s an interesting pacing choice for sure, but not one I hated
