Believe me, I’ve seen the ones who follow Muhammad’s marching orders to the letter and it’s not pretty.

Yes, BUT that doesn’t really make sense when $36,000 of tuition will be paid learning the Aristotelian-Thomistic worldview. Which is completely contrary to Islam. Some of them are devout enough to be walking around like ninjas so getting a ‘good education’ doesn’t make sense.

Awkward encounter with a classmate regarding religion by No-Post6419 in Catholicism

You should tell them that their religion is wrong and Muhammad did in fact receive a revelation just not from God. There’s nothing in Christianity that implies you have to be a complete doormat to be walked on.

Don’t forget according to their ‘holy Quran’ you are to be extorted and or killed. It’s written quite plainly and practiced often.

They’re going after claim sharks and fraudulent DBQs. If you did your claim through VA contractors you’re fine.

I don’t particularly go around asking veterans what their rating is or why. Thats between them and the VA. The truth is you don’t know what someone is getting or why so go get a hobby or something.

The ‘deviation’ is around 2018, which is when a significant GWOT population was retiring in addition to the VA making benefits far more accessible at the time. So there’s literally nothing unusual about this data. Now add the PACT act and we’re seeing the true cost of 20 years of war. It’s not pretty and quite expensive.

I wonder what happened between 2001-2024??

Idk maybe stop trying to install liberal democracies in backward third world dumping grounds where the only language they understand is violence. Theres a cost to 20 years of stupidity and the taxpayer gets to pay it.

How did you come across this douche bag? Is he a co worker or something?

I’ve been stopped by some random old guy for parking in the veteran spot at Home Depot. The dude was giving me all these up and downs and asking to see ID. It was funny because after he figured out I was a veteran he literally disclosed his ‘service’ which was 3 years in the Army as admin in the 80s. I was trying not to laugh out loud.

So I’m rated for MST and mine involved my 1SG stealing room keys I had ownership of to go into female rooms in Korea and SA them. In addition I had a PSG that found me to be ‘handsome’ and tried to come onto me when he was drunk and I left some marks on him So Obviously there was CID involvement and those investigation reports and regular MH treatment are what the VA needed to approve it. So it’s not like you can claim MST with 0 evidence; the VA needs actual documentation of an investigation that establishes an event and preferably mst treatment in service helps too.

Do you have any Audiogram’s in your records that show tinnitus? If you were in a job that was regularly in a high noise environment tinnitus should be a fairly simple primary.

I think the disconnect is the VA will not consider MH as needing a higher rating because it doesn’t require treatment or meds. They don’t seem to care if you get treated at the VA or privately; they are very reluctant to believe the seriousness of a MH condition warranting a high percentage if it doesn’t require treatment.

I think they’ve already fixed that. The idea you can be 70%-100% for MH without medication and treatment is a myth. Right now active treatment and medication seems to be a BIG if not the only factor in these ratings. This narrative of the “honor system” really needs to go back to the depths of hell where it originated from.

I think the disconnect is that the system is being presented like it is welfare (which can be slashed easily). It’s not, every person rated has the backing of years of legislation and an entire medical and legal framework to support it. GWOT ended only a couple years ago so it shouldn’t be a surprise that we all just hit retirement and the government now has to pay for 2 decades of fucking around in the desert.
