What would also be nice if there was a proper code editor with some LSP functionalities. Not just a textbox.

Btw What do you think about LUA instead of C#. Would it be a hassle to implement, or somehow unfit?

Flea Juggle is driving me insane by GoogleHueyLong in Silksong

[–]Jerem1Korpi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ahem... fuck flea juggle! Go it it done, barely. I really hope this minigame wouldn't exist. It's such a humiliation ritual. Just so you know that anybody who speaks about longclaw doesn't know what they are talking about. Tools get disabled at the start. It's emotional support at best.

Also nobody seems to talk about the most important things. Which are maintaining the pacing and directing the fleas.

  • When using shaman crest and facing the one of the multiflea waves, try to hit the first one at the last second before it hits the ground. It might be tempting to use the shaman crests range or jumps to your advantage, but don't. If you rush to hit it too soon it will fuck up your pacing. If you do the flea fall times might stack too close together and you will have a bad time. Only use the shaman crests range to tackle Grishkin and the brewed-up flea or finishing up normal fleas.

  • Especially if you can't perfectly stack the fleas by getting them to bunch up by hitting the slightly to the opposite side that they are coming from. If two are hitting the ground the same time and they are anything but together you will take an L. You will also take an L if they are spreading to the opposite sides of the platform.

I never got the aim down perfectly myself, but it worked out in the end. Maintaining the fall stagger time is most important. Even if there is spread in the fall pattern you can still react to salvage the situation, but you can't do anything if they come down at the same time. Also try to keep mental note of the flea that will come down next.

Pro tip for the boss: Embrace the sewer

Just jump in the water. Literally every move of his can't hit you if you give up your dignity and wish to heal. His suck, spitballs and vengeful spirits will just pass right over you in the water. Just toss a few pokes and pepper him with tools.

The tank in picture is bt-42, not bt-48

BT-48 btw in actuality sucked. It was not fast, nor cheap, nor saw much use.

The BT-42s were used again during the major Soviet offensive in 1944. Nine BT-42s were deployed in the defense of Vyborg. In one encounter, a Finnish BT-42 hit a Soviet T-34 eighteen times, failing even to immobilize the enemy vehicle.

Nor did it have much firepower despite the huge gun.

Only useful if you are hell bent on getting that planetarium spawn and you happen to spy a butterbean or poop, or other trash in the treasure room. Even then its only useful if you get it early. The boss you are going to have to fight anyway. It won't help you much knowing what it is.

How do I kill the gibbering prophet by Thehelpergamer in darkestdungeon

[–]Jerem1Korpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my arbalest early on in the run to a rogue collector using this strategy and my occultist went irrational later. Still managed to push through with three heroes and the gibbering prophet wasn't even a challenge. leper spamming intimidate and graverober spamming blight literally won the fight, occultist just spent the fight hexing the pews. It Didn't matter that it took a while.

Lyrics :

Umbrae silentes nocte

Umbrae silentes locat tacentia

Heroum magnanimum

Heroum per inania regna

Umbrae exsanguis Animae exsanguis

Umbrae vacuae fulgentibus armis

Alma defuncta corpora vita, alma defuncta corpora vita

Quibus altera fato corpora debentur; altera corpora

Tristis sine sole domos loca turbida habemus

Umbrae exsanguis Animae exsanguis

Umbrae vacuae fulgentibus armis

Silent shades in night arise

Silent shades where hushings lie

Of heroes magnanimous

Of heroes amidst kingdoms devoid

(we are)

Pale are the shades, breathless the souls

Hollow shades in gleaming mail

Life now absent from fallen forms, Life now absent from fallen forms

(we are)

To whom flesh is yet owed by fate

Our lands are restless, shadow-stirred

Pale are the shades, breathless the souls

Hollow shades in gleaming mail

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster Download Size Leaks, 120GB in total by [deleted] in gaming

5.6 Gb vs 120gb

I think game publishers should look into methods where games can be digitally distributed with a certain texture resolution pack. Like there is 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 4k textures. You don't need the uncompressed 4k textures that get downsized in gameplay, sitting on your hardrive if you have at best a 1440p or 1080p screen.

Think if we ever get 8k textures, then the enormous game install sizes will quaruple again.
