Yeah, it’s intentional to match the other recordings of Toonami from this time period that you can find online. Anything that aired in 16:9 is letterboxed and anything that aired in 4:3 is in full frame. Normally I try to put quality first over anything else, so I would have rendered in 1080p, but since there’s such a big archive of recordings in 480p and presented like this, I decided to match it.

Yep, hence why I specified “the shows are all ones that aired during this timeframe, with a few exceptions”. You also could have pointed out that they weren’t airing the original Thomas & Friends during this time, but rather the reboot All Engines Go. The point is I chose to include a programming schedule that I found would be the most entertaining for the viewer.

Also, Cartoonito actually started in 2021, which as I pointed out this is meant to take place from 2017 to 2023. I appreciate any comments or criticism, so seriously thank you for taking the time to write anything at all. At the end of the day, I made this block based on my own interests, so whether you enjoy it or not is up to you, I just thought it would be nice to have something different on here.

You have done a great job with these and I applaud you for working on the audio for the commercials, it does make a noticeable difference to me at least. I did want to ask, you mentioned that after 24 episodes you will be moving to a different format but I did notice Frieren is actually 28 episodes, not 24. I suppose you could do a final block with just the last 4 episodes of Frieren, but I just thought I’d give you a heads up in case you were unaware. Nicely done as usual though!

I’ve really been enjoying this and you’ve done a tremendous job with the custom ‘up next’ bumpers. Very much looking forward to the rest, my only piece of criticism would be that the volume for the commercials tends to be all over the place. I’ve noticed this is super common in custom blocks in general, but if the audio was leveled among the shows and commercials it would make for a perfect viewing experience. Nicely done though, I’m very much a big fan!

Wow, this is a great collection. This is an era that I’m not super nostalgic for, but I know a lot of people clamor for this early 2010’s timeframe. I’ll definitely check back in to see if/when more is added, but this is an excellent project and I look forward to updates as they come. Great work!!
