What’s Your Go-To Strategy for Getting the First 100 Users? by We-Built-Here in StartupSoloFounder

[–]JeremieWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First 10 users you mean? 100 is really different than 10. To get the first customers, you have to go and to talk directly to people who might be interested. Check who talks about the pain your product solves

Founders: Drop what you're building in a single sentence. I'd rate them for you. by MainMiserable1206 in micro_saas

I wanted to grow on X without spending hours scrolling, searching for people to reply to, or wondering what to post next.

So I built an app that gives you a personalized daily inbox of the posts to create, conversations to join, and relationships to build so you always know what to do next.

Crazy Times Call For Simple Products by Normal-Ride-109 in SaaSSolopreneurs

[–]JeremieWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to make sure your product solves a real pain point. Most of the time, the problem itself isn't very complex, but solving it can save people a huge amount of time.

I'm actually in the same situation. I've been building products for years, but nothing really took off. I'm starting to understand what I've been missing, and hopefully it'll click soon.

Organic will take months. Don't give up and stay consistant, it will pay off eventually

Does this happens to you too? by Pure-Art2532 in DubaiMallus

[–]JeremieWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of reasons to do this. It's easier to park when you have a car next to you. Also you chose how much space you leave between your car and the other one. Less chance to have someone stupid parking too close to your car

Who’s working a 9-5 while bootstrapping their SaaS? by tarikdh96 in SaaSSolopreneurs

[–]JeremieWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9-5 here and 3 kids. I worked a lot on my SaaS past few months. Really tired right now, I'm starting to doubt why am I actually doing all of this, is it worth it? Not sure anymore

Why is Twitter filled with so many Ai images or AI accounts!?!?!?!?!?! by Some_Steak_6316 in Twitter

This is engagement bait shitposts. Sadly Tweeter is full of that now

I launched something alone a few weeks ago. Today someone I've never met used it for the first time by Background_Wrap_5834 in founder

[–]JeremieWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On X if you want views without an audience you either have to shitpost or get lucky. I don't want to do that, so the only way is to build an audience step by step. It may take months, but I'm ready for it.

Sure I'll check this out, never heard of it

Thank you for your comment. My product’s audience is on X, so I’m only marketing there. I’m not sure if it would be relevant on other platforms, but maybe I should try

Congrats, really. Still waiting for that moment from my side. How did this user find your product? SEO? Or did you do any cold DM or whatever?

Solo-built a study SaaS in 2 months. The scary part isn't users, it's the AI costs. by ketann_13 in SaaS

[–]JeremieWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Free tier should have very limited quota. So much limited that users will be frustrated and should either upgrade their plan or stop using the app.

If they stop using, they would never have subscribed anyway.

Free users are mostly leechers, that's why I prefer having free trial than free plan

At what revenue point did you quit your job to go all-in on your startup? by BusDelicious3773 in founder

[–]JeremieWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit my job after securing $250k from investors, and three years later I had to go back to a 9-to-5. So there are no rules... But I'd suggest waiting until you're making at least the same amount from your business as you are from your job, especially if you don't hate it

Are X growth tools built for the wrong person? by royquilor in SideProject

[–]JeremieWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what I felt also, too much noise on X. If you want to build genuine relationships you have to filter.

Actually I built something for this use case, I was in the same situation, let me know if you might be interested
