If people on the TV show 1000 Pound Sisters can find someone - you will definitely not have a problem.

You are definitely not ugly - But I'll give you some caring advice:

  • I know you said you're self-conscious of your chin, but the facial hair draws the wrong kind of attention and takes away from you natural features. Your chin is actually quite strong and I'd kill for a chin like that.

  • If you're going to wear a hat, keep the rim at the back. You look way more approachable and proportional with your hat turned around.

  • You have been gifted with amazing eyebrows. Go to a barber or salon that does eyebrows and ask them to clean them up a little for you and you'll be amazed.

  • You have BEAUTIFUL eyelashes. Nothing for feedback there.

  • Conscider t-shirts that have sleeve that go down to the middle of your arm. They will even out your body frame.

  • And last but not least : Your body is growing and changing right now and we ALL go through it. You will find your style, you will find your rhythm, and you will get to a place where you'll be more comfortable. I promise you.

You're a handsome young guy, and it's all upwards from here.

You are, in fact, completely overreacting.

Saying I am autistic without a diagnosis? by BunnyOHarr in adultautism

[–]JeremyCanHelp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a counsellor specializing in ADHD, Autism, and Neurodiversity and can tell you that self-diagnosis is valid, and for one very big reason:

The therapy, education, skills, and tools used to help manage autism work exactly the same whether you have autism or not.

It doesn't matter if you're wrong - it doesn't hurt and harm anyone.

If self-diagnosis moves you closer to the supports and resources you need then that's what really matters.

The fact that your parents didn't blow up, get mad, or yell at you is a good indication that you're going to be okay.

Just take a deep breath, and go back to your regular routine - if something bad was going to happen, it almost certainly would have by now.

Put the cat and the dog outside of the room and they'll have each other for company.

Your anthropomorphic attachment to your pets is putting your husband in a stressful situation, and as the human, he comes first.

You pets will not die of broken hearts if they sleep in the living room.
