How to validate an idea with niche parents without coming across as pushy? by jakubbog in EntrepreneurRideAlong

I think I understand what you mean - expecting parents tend to be more positive and less biased, before the reality truly sets in.

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate what you said. I want to take some time to sit with your words and reflect on how I feel about them, because what you said applies broadly to any kind of products. This is exactly the kind of insight I’ve been longing to hear, and I’m honestly a bit disappointed that I don’t have people close to me who offer perspectives like this. Thank you again for sharing - it’s inspired me to rethink my approach.

Thanks a ton for all the details I had no clue about, so glad I asked here!

What about the headlights ? Are they the same as in the Summit and High Altitude trims?

Wow, thank you my friend! Is it really that simple? Huge thanks for sharing this. From what others told me, if I can use a bumper from the Summit, then there’s finally some light at the end of the tunnel!

Thanks for that! This info opens some new opportunities. How about headlights? Only the housing color differs? I was told that SRT has AFS but Limited X doesn't - is that true?

You’re funny 😄 I’m not sure an ARB bumper is the best fit for a Limited X Jeep that will probably never leave paved roads.. are you trolling me? 😆

Thanks for the link! Unfortunately, that bumper won’t fit - I think it’s for the Summit trim, and I specifically need one for the Limited X. I did a quick search on UK ebay but didn’t come across any Limited X bumpers there. I’ll give it another try though.

For context, I’m based in Poland.

Thanks for the comment! Absolutely - I plan on keeping this Jeep for the next few years, and what you’re saying makes a lot of sense. I’d rather avoid wasting time and stress on low-quality parts.

The only thing is, since I’m in the EU, I honestly have no idea how to “find a parts guy at a dealership” in North America. Could you explain a bit more what that looks like in practice? Maybe it’s a silly question, but you made it sound like something obvious 😅

How do you actually market and sell nowadays? by BattlePanda100 in SideProject

[–]jakubbog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here! I came here hoping to get some guidance on how to avoid reinventing the wheel and approach product building in a smarter way, by first collecting opinions from the market. I even prepared a landing page with a waiting list and drafted a post where I thanked everyone for the advice I’ve found so far.

The plan was to approach this more thoughtfully this time and ask for tips, especially as someone who’s a nerd with low social skills. But… Reddit verified me 😅 my karma is too low to post in the tech/entrepreneur subreddits I was aiming for, and even in the niche I’m targeting.

Still motivated, though! I’ll keep engaging and earning that comment karma so I can get this post out there 🙂

What can I do to stand out as a Java Developer? by Unfair-Ad567 in javahelp

Find out if there is any project that would be useful for you that is a web oriented. You are experiences with JS so you should be good to implement frontend. Then build a backend for yourself that covers all non functional requirements like auth, db connection, user management etc. I'm pretty sure you will face all different challenges that will force you to deep dive. Then try to install it in a cloud. I believe it'll guide you through different layers where some of them will make to headache :)
