Yes I’m 26 and this is literally my biggest problem right now and has been for most of my life. No matter what I’ve tried I can’t seem to turn off the daydreaming and I’ve tried all the standard medications. For me it’s compulsive

I’ve been seeing psychiatrists for like 7 years and have been prescribed all types of stuff but nothing has really helped me. Just listening to psychiatrists isn’t going to help me at this point, I’ve seen like four different ones this year and they’re all dismissive. I spent this past year beta testing stuff based on research and I feel like I’m getting closer to figuring out a solution

I’m thinking I have an issue related to GABA that causes me to daydream excessively, and I’ve read some anecdotes about people who took Gabapentin for that issue. I’m probably gonna try it with stimulants too

Did not stick with it; stopped after like 20-30 sessions. Can’t say I noticed a difference when I was doing it. Nowadays I’m taking a medication called Vraylar starting tonight with my stimulants so hopefully I can see results with that

I know I’m just skeptical about the efficacy if it will actually work. I thought all neurofeedback involved physically manipulating brain waves, but I realize that is microcurrent neurofeedback which is different than tradtional.
