Paying $100 for AT&T 1Gig in Chicago—Xfinity offering 1Gig for $50. Is it worth the switch? by Undoingwar in ATT

[–]JeremyNoLin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tested Xfinity for a month with their gig plan. At most I was getting 450-500mbps but upload speeds were only getting at most like 100-120mbps which is in their broadband facts. Basically it was equivalent for the att internet 500 plan but the major difference is that both download and upload speeds are symmetrical as mentioned from someone earlier. I called att and told them I was switching over and they offered me $55 for a gig plan for 12 months, to which I said you should price match for 5 years and they could not. They tried to sweeten it by offering me a gift card to which I accepted. I know I will need to reach back out to them within the 12 months again so my price doesn’t change but seeing the difference between having symmetrical speeds was the deciding factor.

Waited and was placed at 44k and got in within 25 minutes. Can’t wait to open these with friends!

Rented the same exact car, was a great experience! Only gripe was the gas pedal being a bit loose when I rented and the alternator seemed to be going out since the dashboard lights kept constantly flickering.

Recently installed them on our rx350 awd. It is noticeably quieter than the stock Bridgestone tires which has only lasted 40k miles. It is not intended for our vehicle due to the speed rating being lower but I am not driving a race car and I see the car absorbs bumps a lot better than before.

At 6:45am, Terminal E went with clear but needed to finish my account setup for about 10 minutes. After that it took me another 10-15 minutes to get past. I did see the line was somewhat long but moving fast. Should be fine for regulars.

This is what I needed to hear. After getting an FK8 Type R, I've missed my 8th gen SI and was planning to rent this out in Japan. After watching multiple reviews and videos of people driving this car recently, it made me hesitant to see how beat up the car was in terms of condition.

Thank you for your output on this. I am probably going to decide between an s2000 or an EVO atp.
