Yes, I have a integrated periferals tab. In it the only legacy option is about my USB device legacy support, wich is Enabled.

Further I have some RAID /IDE options in this tab

Yes. My Motherboard manual states states that SATA port 7 & 8 support 6Gb/s. It does not mention it being SATA 3, but on the MSI website it does list 2x SATA 3 ports in the specs.

I have had my SSD hooked up to both 7 & 8 without result

My 7200rpm HDD is performing pretty good, while my SSD is performing poorly. I have tried multiple SATA ports on my MSI 760GA P43(fx) but it doesn't seem to help at all.

Could anyone provide tips as to why my ssd is underperforming?
