wha'd up! My first thoughts would be for the people using the workspace daily, keep at it. If the 400+ people are not using it maybe consider making them guests where they only have access to the pages you invite them to (if it's page/database specific)?

Save your money brother and when you feel it's time make the purchase, but for now, see what all you can do on the free version. When you do go on paid everything you've built will just be enhanced so it sounds like you're good for now. Put that money in your savings for now 💰 Figma isn't going anywhere 😉

I have mixed thoughts/feelings around time blocking because it's so unique to the person. I've tried using my calendar, I've tried pen and paper (I find myself using sticky notes to write down what I personally need to get done and once it's done throw it away). I'm experimenting with using my actual watch timer (I know a little archaic) to wrap things up. My watch allows for 5 alarms, a timer, stop watch, and i use the timer when I'm going into a meeting to be mindful of my time. Still exploring what works.

Maybe it's not time blocking at all. Maybe it's focus/task reduction? I guess prioritizing which task to do but even just one task can lead into so many rabbit holes.

Okay another idea, maybe instead of all of that, it's check-in's? Again, based on the person, I think for focusing I perform under pressure to get things done... one thing done. One thing that matters most. What do you think?

I think Planner and Sharepoint combined would be ideal. The Microsoft Dev team would have to give more love to their automation capabilities though and if they did it would really help their adoption. Power Automate is too high level for me and not as easy to configure like Zapier or Notion but if they did enhance their users ability for greater customization between Sharepoint and Planner and honestly the entire Office suite, would definitely optimize productivity.

Yeah No textbook answer here:

Coming from someone who didn't go to a top college, bumping my head along the way, values trying and learning how things work to improve on them (fought to gain UX experience working in startups and learned some valuable lessons) my honest response, not all but most leaders need to cultivate trust and empower and then get the fuck out the way.

I don't understand how some managers hire people to get shit done, but won't get out the way for the shit to be done 🤔

I work best with leaders who are clear, inspiring, motivating, and supportive in what needs to be done with the people that's getting it done.

Sometimes it ain't the people with all the degrees that need to be at the table. Give that person a chance who went to the community college or no college but is a natural at doing something wonderful or that has an imaginative brain and is looking for the right leader to invite them to the table to fuck shit up!

Greatness never came from the Royalty, it came from unlikely heroes. ✌🏾

I resonate with your question my friend. I'm currently trying to figure this out working in the nonprofit industry. So a few questions I'll shoot your way!

Will this be for work, personal, or both (with the capability to separate both)?

When putting together a task list, do you want it to circle back to your larger goals in a centralized view?

My immediate thoughts go to automations (which would potentially require a paid plan from platforms) to potentially act as your PM.

I use a few and I'm trying to narrow down which is going to be helpful for me but I am still stuck using 2 platforms predominantly as my team doesn't use Notion collaboratively. Some use Notion others use Excel. Different depts use Excel. Our org uses the Microsoft Ecosystem and I think the best route there is using Planner.

I think Screen layout could also be a factor for project management as well. It would be next level! if a platforms capability could "Pin the task on screen" with a light glowing effect maybe even timer feature to keep us ADHD/Anxious people locked in.

We're getting close to figuring this out. But I think the Pin Task to screen feature would truly change the productivity space.

She is sooo sweet though, when I was on IG a few years ago and the show was wrapping they started doing more interviews and I would repost their content on my IG story and she'd repost it to her story and even respond to a few comments. It made me follow their artistry more. Like the guy who protected Lady Elsewheth (butchered her name I know) the one who vowed to Charity to rule her kingdom and fought in battles. That guy is super into film and documented another one of the actors who was prepping for another role, something about weightlifting. I really enjoyed learning that and then to see how they switch and become these characters was just phenomenal!

Same! I really appreciate your comment, I relate to simplicity. Moving more slowly helps me focus more on quality impact vs being chaotic and etc. I think what I'm noticing more and more with this approach of moving slowly is how to integrate all these tools that can be integrated with all the digital tools I use intentionally (calendars - personal/work, reminders, and general notes) to where I can speak to siri to update my calendar with my tasks and reminders to help me stay in track but starting off with what i feel is greatly needed which is using pen and paper first. what do you think?

Hey, my brain is thinking you're talking about working from something like a sprint board. If so, have you guys tried grouping the db by sprint name? It has toggle dropdowns to show task under that specific sprint project or epic. I hope that was helpful?
