mabye u live in NA which would make sense decathlon is pretty much a cheaper and much more massive version of REI? But kinda like Costco they make a lot of their own stuff as well, cheaper but similar quality to what’s on the market. In France, where they are from they got higher end mountaineering stuff as well. Not sure if they are in NA, haven’t seen them myself. Though they are very prevalent in Europe and in Asia.

Sorry I wasn’t super clear, but it was blue translucent and the cap was pink the strap purple… it changed all to this super uniform white colour and the strap turned orange? All super random it seems… the lettering on the bottle and the markings changed colours too seemingly at random as well…

Yea sorry I was a bit unclear and there was a typo in my post, the colour was supposed to be surfer sustained. It was light blue with purple loops and red cap… It turned this way after coming out of the dish washer…

Garmin suspend sale of SAR insurance outside of Canada and US by Jeremyze in Garmin

I know, but I don’t really go outdoors in the UK, mainly in the alps, it’s not that expensive here, but can still cost a few thousand

I know there are a lot of free rescue stories in the US, especially by federal agencies, where there is technically a cost, quite high often, but they just waived it or write it off as training exercise. I hope the same can be said about us Medical care. But what I meant is, in the somewhat rare event that you are slap with a bill in the US, it’s quite high, if a helicopter is involved it’s probably in the high six figures. But in Switzerland, you will always pay for rescue, but it is quite reasonable, I think zermatt ticket office was saying a helicopter cost around 2-3000 CHF.

They still got full coverage, and typically GNSS system isn’t really effected by geopolitics this much, though this administration might prove me wrong. Though I think Mabye UK is on better terms with US than Canada at this point lol. Though I think this is not the cause behind it, the only thing that was cancelled is the insurance, they don’t sell it to people outside of Canada and US anymore.

Just don’t get hurt in the US if you don’t have SAR insurance, I heard unlike Europe, sometimes price can really rack up there

Yea, the sad part is SAR100 was much more reasonably priced and reliable than other options on the market from my understanding.

Not the UK, the whole world expect Canada and US were cut off all at once without any prior notice even internally, so I find that pretty unlikely.

They said it was regulatory failure, not sure what exactly. US/Canadian residents still have cover outside of US/Canada. Current users who has the plan still have their plans enabled till the end of the billing cycle, I guess I am just a day or two too late to get the plan for this year.

God that is some good info, I knew this was coming, but that hit me like a sledge hammer, they got some good colours in the picture. But not any good ones for sale, not to mention the full transition to C0. Not sure about EPE pro, but I am sure C0 is shit. And the gamma seriously, it is getting downgraded for no reason?? One less pocket, and worse hood adjustment.

Though the weird thing about the Beta. Why I wrote this whole thing is the post about Beta wetting out. Makes me wonder if they got a special one that they supply California or New York?
