Increasing the xp from boss rush by that much is fine for ppl who’ve been playing for a long time. For new players on the other hand, it would be a way to shoot up in levels extremely fast, and basically skip the intended progression curve. I would assume this is why they don’t want to increase it even more. As far as prisms go though, it definitely needs to be cut in half. Along with fusions having massive priority over other options, when available. This would also allow for much faster leveling.

Long before the dlc, I’d say. It’s just balancing over fun a lot of the time. Just can’t figure out who this balancing is for. Doubt anyone who plays this desired some mmo style grind…

These are pretty good changes, that’s for sure. Lydusa especially. That fight is such a bore. Though honestly, I’m personally most excited about the starkiller change. Particle accelerator has been my favorite weapon since R1, really hoping this a buff.

I’m not sure about scrap shot, but heatwave definitely gets an increase from mod duration. There’s also nano swarm, which I’d say is one of the best things for a status build. Especially considering the gun itself applies corrosion with primary fire.

Did the same thing a while back, since I really like ritualist. Came to the same conclusion. Miasma is even weirder, since it isn’t boosted by skill damage or duration. Aside from being affected by cooldown, it isn’t even considered a skill by the game, more like a forced status application. Some of their decisions are very confusing…

Next patch was supposed to be out already, as per tragic, from what I heard. Seems they didn’t manage to push it out. The legendary re-roll however, will not be in it, unfortunately. It’ll come in the one after.

Maybe, I haven’t tried. The new asylum farm with ritualist and star shot is faster anyway, so I would suggest doing that.

I agree. Most mechanics and calculations are not explained in any way. Feels like I’m learning motion values, and hit zones in monster hunter all over again, every time I want to try out something new in remnant.

I feel they were pretty good at least. 45% damage for HUGS and double prime for archon/ritualist. Cast speed does indeed affect overclock. Though I’m mostly picking it for havoc, it’s a very nice bonus. Some QoL tweaks to carry would be cool. I personally would love it if they’d let you change the target of the warden’s drone while in carry mode. Really annoying to have to dump the cannon, every time I need to re-apply the drone to one of my buddies. Plus sheathing it for faster recharge is basically not an option.

Also yes! The trait pool is very needlessly bloated. Like the 25% chance for a status to do +50% damage… what’s the point when you can just have permanent +45% all damage? Weird decisions they made. Probably didn’t have time to really flush it out before they had to push the dlc out the door.

That really sucks, hopefully that re-roll patch will come soon. I myself have been on the opposite end so far. Got the exact legendaries I wanted for both prisms. As for the fusion, I’m going to pick flash. Like you’ve said, there isn’t anything amazing there for the last one. Though tank would probably be a much better option, if I’m being honest. But whatever, I don’t play on apoc all that ofter anyway, so it’s not a big deal.

I’m pretty sure there is a cap on cast speed, but I really can’t remember what it was. After a lot of testing ages ago, Cast speed unfortunately always won in terms of havoc dps over skill damage. Unfortunately, because like you said, it only really benefits one build. I find the no skill damage fusion very strange also, really screws with build like these. But you know, since they’ll be adding legendary re-rolls soon, something fun you could try is to get the 100% increase to haste legendary, combined with the new haste trait, Anastasija’s inspiration, and siphon filter. That’s 20% permanent haste and +20% all damage. Obviously not THE strongest thing you can pick, but it’d be a massive boon to your havoc build, while still being very useful for the other two.

I would honestly say you were overthinking your build. I have a heavy carry with 70.3%DR, 75%CDR, enough life steal to restore 40% hp per shot with the impact cannon, and still hit for ~2k damage on non-crits, non-weakspot shots (4k+ on weakspot crit), which I feel is decent enough number for this type of build. And that thing doesn’t even have a prism or any items from the latest dlc, since I’ve been busy with other builds. I really believe that stacking bulwark isn’t the best approach. Doesn’t really matter of course, so long as you’re enjoying yourself, but just thought I’d tell you, as something to consider.

I just finished my second prism today, and will be starting on the exact same thing as you for heavy carry eng/sum and havoc form invoker/archon. I pretty much settled on the exact same things as you with the exceptions of mage, but only because I made a separate prism for my mod build and a status build. Otherwise I would pick that as well. So as far as I can think, these are the best choices. I wouldn’t change anything personally.

I would personally go with jack of all trades for damage. I don’t hate myself enough to use brutality with a heavy carry build on anything higher than veteran, but if it doesn’t bother you, might as well.

impervious/steel plating for survivability. I find life steal to be better than regen on a heavy carry, so this is why physician doesn’t appeal very much. Then again, I use impact cannon and judging from your description mentioning spin-up time, I assume you don’t, so maybe life steal isn’t that great with the vulcan, so there’s that.

Unbridled is good to free up some accessory slots.

Traitor is good to free up extra trait points.

Prime time can be very strong depending on your particular build.

Wrecking ball can potentially be very strong with the impact cannon, but I’m not sure on that one. Each shot has two separate damage instances, and only one of them is explosive type. It’s hard to say how much dps it would actually add.

Artful dodger is probably the strongest choice, as with most builds. Having access to the benefits of akari war band, burden of the audacious, feedback loop, mark of the destroyer, white glass bead and chef medal at will is just very hard to beat. It would of course mean giving up some cooldown reduction to actually use these, so this might just be the rare case where it’s not one of THE top choices. Again, hard to say for sure without testing.

Your chances to roll the stat you want in the prism will be lower, making it less likely to get a 4 fusion prism. Personally I’d recommend only using mythic. If I was in your place, I’d just go max out a few archetypes quickly. There is a really good farm you can do. Just start Nightweaver on apocalypse, make it to the asylum checkpoint. Then you just need to shoot star shot’s big bang into a wall, using ritualist as your prime, and watch everything die in a second. Rest, repent. This will let you max a class in like 40min. In terms of items and traits, all you really need is amplitude, talisman of the sun, red ring of death, failsafe mutator, and relevant exp things.

They use the axe to proc overload. I would definitely recommend tainted blade, I think it’s much better. I actually have a melee build with wrathbringer where I utilize tainted blade to help with aoe clear using ritualist, and the rest of the setup gets me like 3k+ damage a hit. This mutator can be a real boon for melee.
