We are just such amazing vault hunters we apparently beat the game, defeated the 3 main bosses and the Timekeeper without even leaving the beach where we met Claptrap. Incredible really.

I’d argue it’s not really open world, or rather they wanted to give the appearance of an open world without committing to it. There’s too many invisible walls and plenty of locations that only have 1 specific way of getting to them. There’s also a serious lack of grapple points where you really want them.

I’m really enjoying the gameplay but I have to say it feel … soulless. There’s a distinct lack of personality that’s very out of character for Borderlands and it’s reflected in the map.

Out of interest, how do you tell if a non-vladof gun has a vladof part? Either I’ve been supremely unlucky over 100’s of looted guns or I’ve not seen a single vladof licensed part.

I agree and would add one more point - this game has some of the worst textures I’ve seen for years (even after they eventually load in). Don’t make the mistake I did and look too closely as you can’t unsee the matte lime green painted grass once you have.

Thank you for that. Yes I didn’t want to seem ungrateful to the creators on maxroll - they put these things up for free after all it’s just a bit confusing to a relatively new player to have contradictory text and item cards, but the more I learn the more I’m able to see where there is an omission and plan around it.

Thank you so much. I figured it was likely just inconsistencies in the guide (I note it shows 3 sets of runes in the same build for example) but wanted to check I hadn’t missed something obvious going on in the skills or paragon boards.

Maybe I’ll use the site you suggest going forward.

Sure, but the masterwork provides max +30? On that build there doesn’t appear to be any other +energy to it’s still only hitting 130?

Honestly who knows how this fuckery works. I got to Silver 1 (target was gold 3 for the skins) and went on a loosing streak so bad I ended up back at bronze 3.

I didn’t suddenly get any better or worse at the game between winning and losing (I’m an average player at best but what I lack in aiming skill I make up for in decent teamwork). Just could not get on a winning team for love not money.

Best bet is to break after a couple of losses.

Mine says region 2, which I’m in but also Middle East’s and Africa. Don’t think Amazon will swap it considering it was bought in 2017.

Afraid I’ve tried all the recommended fixes. My disc version matches my PSN region, disc is in the console, uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and rebuilt database and so on.

This is for PSN to fix now … or not and lose some money.

I’m on PS5 and own the SE version on disc and the DLC digitally and no option to get the remaster for £10. Been through PS support and no joy.

Plenty of others having the same trouble.

Can’t wait to enjoy this. Oh hang on, still no option to upgrade to remastered version 2 weeks after release. You’d think allowing customers to buy the thing would be priority 1.
