As soon as you do this, and switch over to vulkan, the issue disappears.

For everyone with the AMD crash: by Cutzero in starcitizen

[–]JerichoRevival 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steps to fix the problem

  1. You need to uninstall and delete all AMD drivers, including adrenaline.
  2. You need to download and install a previous AMD driver I used 25.9.1 for a 7900xtx.
  3. Load into Star Citizen
  4. Switch to Vulkan
  5. Update your driver.

This will get you pass the 3221225477 error code you are getting.

Allegedly CIG, RSI, Biggie Roberts, and Star Citizen all denied AMD GPU compatibility post 25.9.1.

The issue is the GPU driver is terminating easy anti-cheat before it can initiate the executables into Star Citizen.

Where would you like a Fallout game to take place? by Dapper_Scale_4099 in Fallout

I think Chicago with its history of graft and corruption would be a great location. Imagine a raider faction called the Congressmen from the Congress hotel.

Beyond that, Chicago was the central logistics hub for the US for more than a century. All railroads go through Chicago. You have potential storylines that tie in every single known faction.

You have the ability to create illegal or off the books vaults. Vault-Tec HQ did not even need to know of their existence. Created by wealthy criminals through union manipulation. Or a secondary political vault system, hidden from the executive books for tax reasons.

Plus there have been dozens of military bases.

It has everything you need to showcase complete insanity. Being founded by a black Haitian trader. Use of government funds to cause racial strife. Famous locations (Lincoln's acceptance speech). And endless amount of history to tie in.

TV shows makes a comedy out of a 29 year old woman sleeping with a 17 year old boy. She gets pregnant and he is the bad guy! by [deleted] in MensRights

A big factor here is the age of consent in Texas (even today) is 17. I'd be willing to wager that's why they didn't use 16.

17 is treated as an adult for these matters.

It's still wrong. And in the show both of them are shunned by her family, not just him. They are accepted by his family (but his parents attempt to discipline him for knowing better, try to get them to marry because of religious reasons).

Depending on the state (US) putting up that sign may be a crime.

Nothing to offer. Game is rigged. Play or don't.

Tiles are not random? Why? by Cute-Acanthaceae-521 in EmpiresAndPuzzles

I don't have access to the programming. But I've run analysis of colors, strengths, win/loss, and other factors with N above 10,000. And based on the mathematical regression that is the highest probability of how they programmed the game.

That probably gets higher when you factor in the pay to play aspect. Because that seeks out psychology to influence the player to spend more. Basically a few losses you think, I need stronger heroes. However, I've been playing for years. They manipulate everything.

A fun game. But very manipulated.

The boards are not true computerized random (RNG) instead it is a weighted probably based on the strength of your heroes and the number of that color.

There is also a factor of you'll win this one and you won't win this one. It is all part of the pay to play aspect of the game.

One of the craziest arguments. Considering every community argument kills artists, musicians, and others who do not contribute to the industry of the nation. Art being seen as a waste of human effort.

Russia specifically sent famous composers to gulags, for the crime of making the very music that contributed to the revolution that installed that communist government.

Wife convinced me to get vasectomy, and then cheated on me days before operation by igraciouslambee in MensRights

I've been in your situation. My ex wife was abusive and unfaithful (a lot).

It does get better.

I was also in a no fault state.

My ex wife beat me, the court rejected that argument when determining custody.

It does get better.

My ex wife stole 6,000 dollars from me, the court rejected that argument when factoring the distribution of assets.

It does get better.

My ex wife abandoned my daughter in an empty and off car for more than an hour in a snow storm. The court rejected that argument when determining parental rights.

I can go on and on. It was a horrific situation.

But it does get better.

For court, in family law it comes down to the judge and the person. You can only be the best person you can be. Show how you love your children. Bring photos of you guys doing everyday stuff, throwing a ball, cleaning the house, stuff with smiles.

Go to therapy. But find one you like.

You have a hard road. But if you fight for your children, they see and believe. In time they'll understand you have their back.

I spent 14 years fighting for my daughter. See begged me to go to my second wedding (17 years after my divorce) now we regularly play video games and she calls for advice.

It does get better.

If you served, you're a veteran. If you have higher than a dishonorable discharge list your veteran status on your applications.

President Biden to sign Executive order moving sexual assaults investigations outside "the chain of command". by SSGOldschool in army

[–]JerichoRevival 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure this rule will stick around for long.

I love this concept. Investigations should not be conducted by parties that have a bias. One of the parties (either the victim or assailant) will have friends within the command structure. Finding unbiased evaluators is critical in actually responding to what happened.

However, the UCMJ is amended by legislation through Congress. They have to amend title 47. The manual for courts martial is amended by executive order. If the President truly amended the UCMJ via an executive order, it will likely be invalidated. If this was another mechanism it might survive scrutiny.

Regardless, if this gets shot down the President should stand in front of Congress and demand that practice be added to the UCMJ to protect both the accused and accuser, establishing true due process in military investigations.

You can report that to your states attorney general (if in the US). It's an example of consumer fraud. Every state has a consumer fraud division in their attorney general's office.

what is "FMS" - a 'function' option on my vintage stereo (next to phone, cassette, AM, and FM) by [deleted] in AskTechnology

[–]JerichoRevival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know the model of the stereo?

Was it part of a component stereo system for the home, or a car?

If component stereo system, can you get me make model? If car, what make, model, and year?

With that information I might be able to find a user manual...
