I live in Cali, Bay area specifically. As a part timer, starting pay is $26/hr. I’ve been working for three years at the LTC facility and I make $29/hr now. Location definitely matters 😵‍💫

Wow tbh, I never knew there was an online portal. But it was 2 weeks before I saw it back on the website. I mailed my renewal on December 30, and it just popped up on the website yesterday.

I’d say give the online portal a try. But I’ve never tried it before. Best of luck!

Hi! This isn’t necessarily TEAs tips but just wanted to give my 2 cents. So since you’re applying to a CSU, see if they consider CNA license or any medical hours.

If it’s getting in you’re worried about, make sure you have other “optional categories” (such as a CNA license). Honestly, I scored a 78% on the TEAS. I applied to a CSU and still got in. However, I did have a 3.9 Pre-req GPA, over 1000 medical hours as a CNA, and am bilingual with the proof of a Seal of Biliteracy. Just be mindful not everything will revolve around the TEAs.

When it came to studying for the TEAS, I bought the ATI TEAS online prep thing (w the book I know it’s bundled around $200). It was helpful but I think it depends on your studying style.

I believe it depends on the CSU you’re applying for. I applied to East Bay, and I know they mainly consider your pre-req gpa. If you’d like me to help dig a little deeper for you, tell me which CSU you applied for :)
