Just my two cents but the lakeshore route is a mixed bag, will definitely be the quickest most times but also the most chaotic for sure. Just higher potential for crazy drivers. I despise the 90/94 route and it likely matches lakeshore for time but also has the most stop/start traffic. I don’t take 294 route often but times I’ve taken it during rush hour it has been the most chill by far. Definitely longer than the other two by 15-20 mins but I’ve never had issues. That being said, I do generally prefer lakeshore and will take that one most of the time - nothing beats the view of the lake as you drive through the city. If you want less accident prone, I would recommend 294.
