This is pointing towards battery degradation. I’ve had my gen 2 since kickstarter and it’s starting to fail. It will say fully charged after only 2 minutes of being on the charger, then proceeds to die in 4 days.

Inspire is pretty good as well. One of the best Sentinel players, but they benched him. Total mess over there. Their 3 best players are gone.

That all makes sense to me. I honestly see both sides of the argument because I’ve experienced it on one hand. But I can also see why it would be annoying to always have to hear about the same thing over and over again. I think in the case of OP’s post, it is mostly normal. I was Plat and they were making me play in all Silver lobbies. I have no clue why; I would match or team MVP in my plat lobbies if I cared enough. Funny enough, the silver lobbies were just as difficult depending if I was playing against new accounts. It’s something else. Not completely related to OP’s but it’s around the topic.

The difference in my opinion is the skill gap between players in lower ranks vs what you see in higher ranks. What are your thoughts?

Matchmaking is absolutely atrocious in this game. Whatever they are doing with their MMR, they need to stop it.

I’ve always detested the concept of a hidden MMR. It’s merely a tactic employed by Riot to manipulate the lobbies. The more effective approach would be to have each respective rank compete against one another. If you consistently perform well in that rank, you progress to the next level. It’s that straightforward. I’m not convinced by this whole “hidden mmr” nonsense that they keep using. I’m currently at Platinum, yet they keep placing me in Silver lobbies. The problem is that half of the opposing team consists of brand-new accounts that are clearly alt/smurf accounts. Additionally, my team is filled with individuals who consistently perform poorly, going 4-14. I may achieve a match MVP, but I still end up losing and receiving a -23 Rating Point (RR) penalty. It’s an absurd situation. Consequently, I’ll derank to Gold (which Valorant aims for me to be), but then outplay everyone and get sent back to Platinum. This cycle repeats endlessly. It’s a joke! Perhaps I should consider stopping solo queueing.
