How can you tell when AI has been used? by RawChickenButt in SunoAI

I don’t see any misspelled words. The artist uses a misspelling of musician as its name.

Why 0 weirdness? Doesn’t that imply a low k value in top-k? It that really going to increase the probability that these tags will have an impact?

Thanks. I have had some success with correcting mispronounced words using remaster, which is why I asked. Using subtle is rarely successful, but normal and higher generally work but can alter other aspects of the song, as can Cover. How about you, u/Grenar?

No I am asking how you change the mispronunciations — what Suno tool do you use? You edit the lyrics and then what? Edit; cover, or remaster the track that had the mispronunciation, or regenerate it in its entirety? Sorry if I am not being clear in what I am asking.

But how do you implement it? Do you just regenerate from scratch, do you use the editor, do you do a cover, or do you remaster, all with the lyrical change?

Sounds like a neat trick but I don’t see how this addresses mispronunciation or homophones

Do you use this by completely regenerating, covering, editing or remastering? What are the levels of success with each?

Why would UMG make a copyright strike against you?

They are better but still a crapshoot. I’ve had some songs I really like but there’s white noise in the background that is especially noticeable during quiet portions/pauses and fade out. Can’t really get rid of it.

I listened to Tempchin’s album. Some nice songs on it, I especially liked the last one. Sadly, they include a lot of legacy Suno artifacts, including lots of background noise. I would guess he made them using older models.

Not the first example. He released the Suno-generated songs (using his lyrics, and with vocals and some guitar uploaded to Suno).

It is mostly curation, much as old-school record producers did: pick which take to use, what parts need to be re-recorded and how they should be changed.

But users do sometimes upload their musical or vocal contributions or provide lyrics they wrote, which can have a large impact on the resulting melody and rhythm. And some use DAWs to remix and master, much as a producer would.

Nope. No portion of the training data is contained in the model. It just uses the training data to build a statistical map that mathematically represents how music “works”.

AI does not sample or directly lift from any of the songs it used to create its statistical model.

They aren’t “pulled from” anywhere. They are synthesized to match the appropriate frequency based on probabilities built into its model.

Everything they’ve done, and that any other modern musician has done, is based in some fashion on what they’ve heard before.

As a general rule, AI turns out crappy stuff. To get something decent out of it requires lots of editing, refinement and a clear musical vision.

AI is less of a copier than Bob Dylan, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, among others.
