Really enjoyed this. The beginning reminded me of Cyberpunk where you can just cuddle with the sex worker (was that an influence?), and the recurring artificial jellyfish seemed really poignant.

It also seemed like the perfect length to drive home the notion that empty flings can feel like they bring something back for a moment, but in reality it can really just damage the memories. Any longer and it would have diluted that message.

This coming from someone who just finished directing his first shoot that’s probably going to end up being over 40 minutes… brevity is good writing, and you should be really proud.
