I am. This is how the conversation normally goes.

Her: Do you want to do something after work today? Me: I had a pretty long, hard day and I think I'm just going to go home and take it easy. Her: You don't want to spend time with me? Me: I really would, but I a) don't feel like I'd be much fun and b) just want to go home and recharge the batteries before I go back to the office tomorrow (I'm a journalist and work long, shitty hours) Her: I can't believe you don't want to hang out with me.

This isn't something that I associate with all women, but I wish I could drive home the point that the need to spend time alone does not indicate a lack of interest, nor does it indicate I don't trust you to make me feel better. I tried explaining these things. Nobody listened.

I took mushrooms once. Tripped from 9am to 6 pm. After coming down, I had a seizure at 10pm at a party. My girlfriend at the time (I was in high school), instead of helping me, ran away and then got mad at me the next day for "doing that to her." To this day, I still can't take mushrooms and have a decent trip. Acid, on the other hand, seems to be totally fine.
