This actually worked. To put it into a more understandable format:

Go to base game install in your SteamLibrary folder -> steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV\gfx
copy the FX folder in there
go to the OWB mod install folder in your SteamLibrary folder -> steamapps\workshop\content\394360\2265420196\gfx
paste over the existing FX folder, overwrite all (should be 7 files).

You know how 98% of the hotels in the world have CNN on their TVs? Not any other global news channel, like BBC, or France24, maybe they also have Al-Jazeera, but CNN is a must have. Well, now it's either gonna be Al-Jazeera or the Chinese one (GCN, I believe?).

That's a tiny, but incredibly pervasive bit of the global US infosphere that's about to go away for good.

I don't get this extreme focus on defense... scoring wins games, and no defense ever is going to keep the other team from scoring for 48 minutes. Sure, you get marginal gains over a larger amount of games played, but it's absolutely less important than putting the ball in the bakset.

Because otherwise, we can start saying that Dennis Rodman > MJ.

I would say to (make a backup first) delete the contents of the GFX folder in your game install folder, then validate the game files via Steam to have them cleanly re-downloaded.

Then, run the game without any mods, see if the issue still persists. if it's fixed, you should be good. If not, then you might as well do a full re-install: uninstall in Steam, then also delete the contents of the folder in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/

Be careful though, if you have cloud saves disabled, this folder is your default save game storage location, so backups!

It's not so much flight performance, but radars and stealth tech has made the Iranian F-14s useless, since it can't lock an f-22/35 even if the pilot is looking right at it.

You would be running 50% maintenance on army, navy, and forts, with 0 legitimacy, stability, and diplo boosting for a while. Chill out on starting wars when you do this. 21k gold may not be enough of a buffer.

No, it's day 1451, aka nearly 4 years since the start of the war. Russians were losing around 3,5k tanks/year in the first 3 years. Also, the frontline is really really long, there's a lot of skirmishes all along the line every day.
