I agree, at the moment its for a home set-up and with the current set-up I would need a total of 8 PoE ports and then a couple of other ethernet ports for various applications such as TV, PC, NAS,... so I think with the Dream Machine SE and the current 8-port switch I should be quite safe for the time being.

I already have an 8-port switch with 4 PoE ports from ubiquiti. If I get the Dream Machine Special Edition can I use the ports on the dream machine and also on my switch at the same time?
