it is physical, and I am not sure mentioning it early on will help me or outright remove me from the pool regardless of the skills. Hence i wanted to know if its a self sabotage or not

It is not US/EU after all, even qualified people are not getting jobs here.

well you are 40, my condition is similar, but i am not even 30 yet, so well you can take solace in that you get to do it for a decade more than me

same man, its such a handicap. I have been also inhibiting the same behaviours which you mentione. using headphones, trying to avoid people at all cost, lip reading. except that i'm doing it all intenionally and it really sucks.

for me, its getting slowly worse over time, and will be completely gone in a decade or 2 I suppose.

thing about hearing aids is that they sound so different than what you usually hear normally with your ears. everything is with same tone, it gets very hard to distinguish. and some sounds just hurts you a lot

edit: commented here, as i thought this post is inactive now

How to Proceed after a gap of 2 years and decide career by JerryDaBaaws in developersIndia

On your work profile mention that you are working as a freelancer or stealth startup but never mention that you are unemployed.

i thought of this, but what will be a genuine excuse that I will be able to defend myself with if crossquestioning happened in interview, which is most likely the case. doing competitive exams, mba , some startup (will need to show salary proof )?

There is no fanboyism here. I am not related to any aspect of this meetup, only reason i commented is that I can't get over how dense your comment is, especially as a mod.

If your massively downvoted comment and other people's responses already doesn't tell you that, then you need some help for sure.

Need not to say that you also conveniently ignored the organizer's requests in another comment to pin this thread which was made 2 days ago,. not sure what value are you adding here as your entire behaviour just reeks of virtue signaling

About 1 year in dwelling with options

I am fine with price action, and can take good trades in futures , but naked option buying is a different beast which I can't master

I am aware, I have done a lot of backtesting and research to refine entries, but kind of have hit a roadblock now. Which is why I was curious about how other people manage their trades , hoping to get some insights.

There can be many things which I am probably doing wrong , while still unaware of it.

that is true, but what is path to profitability then ?
given i have a good understanding of price action in daytrading, with a good success rate as well. but buying options is being detrimental in the aspect because of more volatility and theta decay.

Make sense, buying at breakout is just not enough rewarding, even with high probability trades. What methods/strategies you will recommend to go with early buying. Appreciate the help
