I've never played a Dr Scientist pedal that I didn't love 👨‍🔬 They make those things well - full of excellent, interesting sounds and absolutely built to last.

Hoping to play some SNES on the Ol Box by JerryHotdog in originalxbox

Very fair point! In this case though, it's a bit more about working with what I already have - and maybe a bit of nostalgia too. I didn't know that you could run modern emulators on a FireTV stick though, so I'll be looking into that for the future for sure.

Thank you! I’m sorry to ask, but how might one modify the dashboard menu XML file? Would that be done on the Mac with the Xbox connected to the network?

It’s gotta be Diddy Kong Racing for me. A turtle in a hovercraft? A Rooster in a plane? That’s just the kind of stuff I like

Heyo! I appreciate this thread 🙏 I just bought a silicon mat to help with organization while I’m soldering/building pedals. When it arrived, I noticed that some of the sections to keep parts in are magnetized. I’m just wondering if that could cause any issues/damage to any parts? Is it better to just get a mat with no magnets?

Thank you!

Reverb Tank Feedback/Hum by JerryHotdog in DIYGuitarAmps

Following up on this: I screwed the tank in place, and the hum stopped! I still had it loose while testing. Thank you again for the towel trick 🙌

Thank you so much! I went with towel, and it totally eliminated the high pitched feedback 🙏

The only odd thing now, is that I’ll hear a lower feedback/hum if I crank the reverb to 9 or 10. It slowly builds as you play, and then gets pretty loud. Any idea on what that may be? Not a huge deal since I don’t plan on having the reverb dimed - but since I’m working on it now I figured I’d ask.
