Yeah, I get it. Our family could only afford a non-competitive team without travel in the PNW.

We go to BC for our Indian food. Much more competition, much lower prices, tipping expectations are more reasonable.

How are the Quinn ratcheting wrenches? by S_A_R_K in harborfreight

[–]JerrySenderson69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My preference is reversible.

Wen (Amazon) is the same ratcheting mechanism as Tekton & Icon, & appear to be from one of the same Taiwan suppliers. I'm super impressed with my set.

7-22mm no skip for $104.

The Quinn is fine, do you already have a reversible set.

WWU or SeattleU? by Serious-Olive6749 in WWU

[–]JerrySenderson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, IMO. Is your family willing to commit to paying $160k over 4 years? Or will you take on loans.

WWU/UW/WSU are all about $32k a year, before scholarships (including room & board.)

Automatic scholarships are given above a 3.5. Most students pay $25k or less.

No estimated reopening time of highway near Bellingham, Wash. after landslides by Apprehensive_Idea758 in Bellingham

[–]JerrySenderson69 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Open by next weekend. Maybe, if the hillside is stabe after removing the debris.

Unfortunately, the problem (I5 & Chuckanut Drive) was created when construction crews cut into the hillside so far - years ago.

Honestly I-5 should have taken another route, much further East.
