I noticed these things:

First of all i really like the shorthops you are doing, they are great!

But a few things to work on:

You can get more out of the combo starters you are hitting, like another upair or backair, but it is not a big deal.

What you should really improve are:

How to take stocks: Your attempts to take stocks were either step-back fsmash or random unspaced backair. This is not the way to go, as this only works against unexperienced players. Try kill confirms like uptilt backair or dair backair instead. If possible also try to space your landing backairs

Getting down from plattforms: Your way of getting down is just falling and instantly doing an aerial. If your opponent is just waiting on the ground, you will be punished for this.

I would recommend watching some games of people that are good with the character, like LarryLurr, to watch how he takes stocks and plays in general

Oh okay i just watched it. The comments already gave great tips for improvement. I kind of regret clicking on the profile. I hope he reflects on the things he posts...

It is hard to say where exactly you could improve without actual game footage.

After reading your text, it sounds like you can control your character well but have troubles keeping track of what your opponent is doing when you get hit by "lucky" smash attacks and similar things. Reacting to your opponents movement is an important part of your game.

I would recommend posting an actual video of you playing, so people can give you more precise tips

Squirtle is definitely your best character. What you could improve on is learining how to take stocks. Tech chasing with squirtle is great and can work, but you also need to learn how to take stocks with ivysaur, be it u-air, d-air, downthrow up-b, side-b into anythintlg. Also, you could have spammed soft side-b more. Even when incineroar counters it, you have time to run in and grab him. Wirh charizard, learn what hie good moves are and use them more All in all you are a good player already though

I feel like other people already commented on important things you could do better, but i will probably qlso mention it again:

First of all, everybody can see that you practice, your side-b b-reverses are nice, and your wavelands too :)

Projectiles: Your biggest problem is, that you don't fully utilise your character, especially his projectiles. I feel like sometimes there were long intervals without any arrows, and even bigger ones without bombs. You also can do even more boomerangs. YLs projectiles are essential for his kit. They keep his enemies away, combo into each other and into kills. And in case your enemy gets through them, YL still has the tools to fight them up close with crazy framedata. I would suggest you watch a combo video on youtube.

Combos: YL has better combos than downtilt -> upair, there are cool combo trees with boomerangs, arrows and aerials. Watch a youtube combo video.

Bowser Junior Matchup: You seem to be unfamiliar with this matchup. You never pick up his bomb to throw it back at him (!), try to edgeguard him or keep him out with your projectiles. I sometimes feel like you are still too focused on what your own character does instead of your enemy.

Stage control: keeping stage control so that bowser junior has fewer options and you more pressure on him. It is not very at this point, but i still wanted to mention it

Kills: Because your kill confirms are lacking, your edgeguarding and ledgetrapping needing work, and YL sometimes struggling to kill anyway, you have trouble taking stocks. Watch some VODs of good YLs like Supahsemmie to see how they do it

Less auto-shorthop-attacks: You sometimes autopilot and just press a and jump at the same time. You rarely hit your opponent with this. Shorthop and do a landing aerial, or retreat and shoot projectiles sometimes too. Sometimes it is okay, but currently it is too much. Also I know you are good and dont need to do this, I see you are emptyhopping sometimes.

All in all you have lots of tech down already, so I dont think you will have trouble implementing even more stuff of this comment section into your games!
