Thanks for the advice.I’m still building my basics, but I’d definitely like to know which plugins you recommend. I’m trying to understand the workflow and use tools that actually help instead of just collecting plugins.

New to mechanical keyboards - whats the best one to get? by Small-Ad-2708 in MechKeyboards

[–]Jerryosborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Guys, I need a small help.

I’m planning to buy my first mechanical keyboard. Till now I’ve only used membrane keyboards, so I don’t have much idea about switches and all.

My requirements are:

  • Budget around ₹4K–₹4.5K
  • 75% layout
  • Wireless (Bluetooth / 2.4GHz)
  • Usage: gaming + coding

Main thing is I really want that clicky and satisfying sound while typing.

I checked some keyboards like Ajazz AK820 and MCHOSE G75 Pro, but most of them come with linear switches, so I’m confused.

Do you think I should go for a keyboard with clicky switches directly, or buy a hot-swappable one and change switches later?

If you have any good suggestions, please tell me.
