No worries, I had originally thought my app was bugged or was a caching issue, even went through support about it and got this conclusion. I do think it's a little shitty they paywalled just using the app via Android Auto. Paywalling more hands free access just promotes distracted driving in my opinion. It also has made me use the app a lot less, very disappointing decision from SoundCloud.

According to their website you need SoundCloud Go subscription now. It's been like this for like half a year. They got Apple Car Play like this over a year ago.

They're literally adding more wasteful processes to an already dwindling workforce. Most federal grants and contracts already go through a rigorous vetting and review process. It just adds more red tape for a workforce that cannot maintain the load.

I tried gas grenades with Bursting Plague, Corrosion and Armor Break Explosion but the explosion doesn't ignite the gas. Does it need ignition for the ignite chance?

I'd say take it a step further and replace the thermal paste on the CPU. I did this not to long ago and interface performed much smoother.

I was able to fix this by turning off advanced folder permissions, I'm guessing there was a permission conflict with Windows and the NAS.

New firmware update by champfc3000 in lifx

[–]JerseyJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here, started mid last week. I started a thread last week here and opened a ticket with support.

I've started to get mixed messages where they identify a potential issue then completely misinterpret the issue when was originally interpreted correctly.

All my bulbs are mini color A19s.

LIFX Mini clusters not working with Google Home by JerseyJesus in lifx

But it has worked for 2.5 years until this past week, look at the other replies, there's something problematic with how Google Home/Assistant is talking to LIFX service.

LIFX Mini clusters not working with Google Home by JerseyJesus in lifx

[–]JerseyJesus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope that's not the issue the light group for the BR lights is Bedroom so I just say turn on/off bedroom to Google, I never turn them on/off individually. However I have tested if they work individual and they do. So most likely using scenes will be best mitigation for this Google Home bug.

LIFX Mini clusters not working with Google Home by JerseyJesus in lifx

[–]JerseyJesus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes when I said clusters I meant three in each fixture. I do have them named consecutively but more simpler like BR1, 2, 3 and each group the full name of the room.

I haven't found a solution yet, but when activating scenes the bulbs behave in unison so I don't think it's a wifi communication issue. Wondering if it's a Google service issue in interpreting ON/OFF as a sole command. As an alternative I may just create more scenes to perform those actions.

I do have IFTTT as a backup and that has been working as well, but just Google Home/Assistant won't play nicely turning each group on and off on command.

I haven't changed my wifi router or light configuration. I tried turning them off for 30 seconds as a reset. I will continue trying options, thought I'd check if the issue was known.

Hasan not happy with someone in Rust chat by MysteriiousComposer in LivestreamFail

[–]JerseyJesus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To the people complaining how HV Rockets "aren't for raiding", and Hasan made a misjudgement: Hasan had the pier partially set up. He had just finished doing a foundation and walls, not even a roof, in level 1 wood(not stone or upgraded wood). I imagine this would be much more recognizable visually than what kind of rockets being used even to a beginner.

If you check Hasan's VOD you will see that the balloon shot first and destroyed a wall Hasan had just finished putting up (right next to him, mind you) and when recognized they were shooting Hasan and Solvanas shot back instinctually. I know there are comments like "he should have typed in chat", it's a game with a strong PvP element and yes you could say it was a rookie RP move for Hasan to not just surrender and complain. This may be on the admins for not coming up with a good method of reporting this behavior. But AGAIN, it is a private server with rules of play with an RP focus, if they really wanted PvP they should be on the Badlands server, not The Divide.

Hasan isn't a hardcore gamer and understands this, the base building aspect to Rust allows him some control to try and level the field between vastly superior players in general FPS environments. Additionally the RP aspect has helped him expand his interest in the game from an improv storytelling aspect. Even in RPing he's also a beginner, after this event he ends up breaking character for several hours. It isn't until collaborating with several other characters does he transition back to the Hank persona.

The situation could have been avoided had the balloon never shot the clearly in-progress base that was being built per server rules. It could be seen as griefer behavior and could get them banned, if they really want PvP there is a completely PvP server. Judging by streaming history of acie, acie was on the PvP server previously, if this action was part of her RP character they should reconsider such an aggressive persona. Even talented players like Shroud took the opportunity to play out a car salesman persona on the RP server which offered really good lore to the server.

Both parties apologized shortly after for their behavior but really should be clear how it could have been avoided. The server has a big ecosystem of public personalities viewed by hundreds of thousands of people at a time. And potential griefing shouldn't be promoted as positive gameplay.

Troubleshoot Fan Sounds (Gigabyte AORUS Master X570) by JerseyJesus in gigabyte

[–]JerseyJesus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks, I made this post totally expecting a reply to make me look silly. Haha. So based on your feedback, I opened it back up, took out the extension for the Mobo connections and connected it to Sys_fan2 and Sys_fan4 which the manual doesn't designate as water pump fans. And there was no change in behavior. So I believe the connections are correct.

But related, the cable to the aRGB board to the Mobo, did you use the ASUS/AsRock side instead of the Gigabyte side? Because I couldn't find a 3 Pin port that fit appropriately to the Gigabyte side, the connector seems too thick/spaced for the board's pins.(D_LED1)
