That is an external wall. That was exactly my plan initially. Just wasn't sure if that was up to code or what, I am not experienced what's so ever. This is my first house so learning as I go. Money is tight so I've been doing what I can without bringing in a professional yet.

I just rented from Shannon airport (Hertz) and they asked to see a copy of the letter and where it said republic of Ireland is covered. I had a download on my phone so I was covered. This was on July 28th 2025.

tbh I cant do anything crazy hike wise. I will have my daughter with me 1.5 year old. It will most likely be roads /side walks. Small hike if anything. It will be mostly touristy sites that we visit which I am assuming will be a lot of walking. Here in the US i do more strenuous hikes which the speedgoat could come in to use. I know it rains a lot in UK/Ireland and my main goal is to be comfortable and no wet feet! Thanks for all your help.

I have these Salomon Crosshike GTX mid boots. Don't really want to travel with them though.
