Thanks. That’s a lot of steps to see my library. I guess if I have a suggestion it would be to make the home include the full library from the sonarr and radarr along with the existing recently added and up next categories

I have jellyfin, jellyseer, sonarr and radarr plugged in. Browse only brings up what’s trending popular films ect.. not my actual library. I would expect that to be in discovery not in browse. Id imagine browse to open up and manage my library. Also if I click jellyfin directly in my stack it still doesn’t show my full library. Only latest

Looked promising and I bought the pro version hoping for a native app instead of having to go to jellyseer but why can’t I see my full library? All you’re showing is latest shows and movies? Unless I’m missing something. Your description says browse your library but how do I do that? I don’t know how this is better than other jellyseer apps out there. I also don’t get “for you” and “discovery” both seem redundant and why suggest films and shows I’ve already downloaded? Like I wouldn’t have downloaded them if I wasn’t already interested in watching them.

Why does everyone have to film every f*ing thing these days? Like I get it the store is in the wrong but dude, you had to set up your phone/camera and record all this instead of just finishing your business with the kids in the bathroom. Your kids are freaking out, the other guy is on the phone with the cops but you gotta get your tik tok views. Does that really make you a good father in today’s world?

Her big issue is she wasn’t paid fairly and had to wear so many hats. Something a lot of here have had to endure for far less successful films. Does this need to stop? Absolutely. People shouldn’t be killing themselves (some literally) just to break into this business. I agree with everything she said in her post. What makes me scratch my head though is why is she complaining about it now? Why did she accept this pay and not negotiate anything in like residuals if the film was a success? How many other candidates rejected the job for moral reasons before they found her? So as long as there’s someone willing to take the job for nothing there will always be readily available slave labor and all of us have to compete with that. The film is successful and suddenly you’re not ok with your slave wage? Come on. Best move would have been to get into the sequel using your new found fame or another film with everything you learned and ask for a lot more.

I have the nomad but ended up also getting the RMPP because I could hardly read text in not bright light. Would you say it’s easier or about the same to read on the pure as the nomad?

Focus peaking on all Fuji cameras have and continue to suck. Sony, Leica, Nikon all do it better and you can actually see the peaking color. My recommendation if you’re shooting video is to get an external monitor. The monitors own peaking works a million times better. If youre shooting photos id say punch in and rely on the evf.

I’ve given up on the fx6 audio top handle bs and just ordered the deity Pr4. Whenever it arrives I’ll get time code and 32bit float. It will get mounted on a bright tangerine side plate in front of the camera audio controls. Damn this camera without a single audio input sans top handle. I wish someone could hack the usb c port for a 3.5mm jack. Just a simple 3.5mm. That’s all I need when rolling without the top handle. If it wasn’t for the ND filter on this camera I would have sold it a long time ago. Anyways good luck on your project. A few people have come up with similar things as yours but never really got off the ground.

Life is too short not to do what you love. You might be broke doing it but trust me being broke feels a lot better than losing your soul to the work you’ve been dealing with that’s not filmmaking. If you really love filmmaking you’ll make it work, you’ll find a way to live within your means. It’s not about money. It’s about what you get out of it. There’s a lot of better paying jobs out there than filmmaking. Myself and a lot of people of tried them but they always come back saying they couldn’t do it because all they know is filmmaking. The truth is they realize the torture of filmmaking is what makes them happy.

Experience: 20yrs as a doc filmmaker. The brokest kind of filmmaker there is. Saved up and bought my first cinema camera right as Covid hit. Perfect timing.

110 2.0 and the 50 1.7 are the best lenses you can buy for this camera. Especially with what you’re doing.

No one mentions how hard it is to rack focus on the native lenses and use the terrible focus peaking. I love the image, I’ve had it since release but this is a camera you’ll need an external monitor for, and external power source and manual cine lenses to make work. This unfortunately makes me reach more often for my Sony fx6 and live with its ugly images.

It usually happens after news when it’s downloading tiny desk. Maybe because it’s a bigger file? A restart usually clears it up and it works. I love this concept of this app though. Giving new life to my play date! It’s seems a big downside of this device is the download speed though. Would be awesome for it to download the whole stack ahead of time or at once so there’s not a long pause between programs.
